Let's start with the positives, the views are spectacular the staff friendly (everyone we met in Santorini were friendly) . The harbour, sunset and beach are beautiful. Susie's restaurant down the road was lovely, great food. Now for the negatives, which unfortunately there are a lot... This is NOT a 4* hotel. I think it would struggle to be a 2 Star. When first arriving and seeing the hotel, we were immediately disappointed. It looks completely run down and in need of a complete overhaul. Their Facebook page or photos you may see of this hotel do not represent it at all. Our room was tiny, not clean (especially the bathroom) and the towels... I'm sure they are meant to be white and clean, maybe a few years ago they were. They were dingy and yellowing and smelt greasy. It was so bad, after two nights of being here we found and paid the extra for another hotel for our next 4/5 days stay. We had spoke to other guests at the hotel, who were doing their best to get out of the hotel and find things to do. The spa... What spa? It was closed, which we didn't find out until we got there. We read it's run by another company, so heaven knows what's going on there. Drinks and food at this hotel are expensive with very little choice. Limited Breakfast was awful, the toaster burnt toast no matter what setting, and one side didn't even work! If we hadn't have been able to find another hotel to stay in (which is absolutely beautiful and should be rated the 4 stars the notos has been awarded) we would have paid to get an early flight home. If you want a lovely, clean hotel and plenty to do around you, do not stay in this hotel. The two star review is for the views only!
