Wonderful time at novotel Miami brickell

We just returned from the novotel Miami brickell we stayed 14 days we had a wonderful stay. The hotel in brickell is fresh very clean and feels a new hotel that you just walked into. We had a lovely welcome all the staff are very kind and helpful Waseem the front manager is so helpful. so many to mention ana Christian everyone always support the guests. The hotel has a bar and restaurant the breakfast is so good lots to choose from the staff are also friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious very clean well appointed very comfortable bed nice tv and rain shower. There is all so a wonderful rooftop bar and swimming pool with the Miami wheather to cool off. the area the hotel is situated is perfect for a great supermarket and pharmacist just across the road. and transportation you have a metro station that goes to different areas of Miami trolley buses that go to lovely attractions of the area also there is a free people mover that goes around brickell and also regular bus services if you are looking for a hotel not far from the Miami cruise port . NOVOTEL MIAMI BRICKELL is a great stay for a lovely vacation would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you also to the front desk manager who helped us out with arranging transport to the Marlins baseball game and also back to the airport on the Saturday 5th July. Thank you to everyone for making our holiday special and memorable.

Not a great stay

Very good location - walkable to many bars restaurants and shops. Room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Small fridge and coffee maker were welcome - microwave would have been handy. Shower room was excellent - good shower and nice toiletries. Unfortunately the hotel was right in the middle of a building site during our visit so noise on an industrial scale started VERY early every day and we had to keep our room curtains closed as workers could look directly into our room. Pool area was extremely overcrowded - far too small for number of people trying to use it - unable to get a lounger and it had a crane overhanging it from building site next door! Noise and dust spoiled the atmosphere - just unpleasant. We didn’t eat in the hotel so can’t comment on that. Reception staff varied - checked in by a pretty unhelpful chap but in the morning we were helped by a pleasant cheerful lady who was able to answer our questions fully. Check out was efficient. Parking was straightforward- still resent paying the huge amount asked for when you are a hotel guest but all Miami hotels are the same and this one has more reasonable cost than many. Would consider staying here again for one or two nights only - but would check in advance re building going on round about.

Terrible Service!

The worst experience ever! How insensitive a hotel or the staff can be.. it’s what this hotel has been an epitome of!! We reached hotel past midnight (almost) & there was ONE tiny bottle of water kept in the room… for the family! When we called reception, we were told we had to buy if we wanted more! I don’t mind it under any other circumstance… but just imagine, one reaches at night & this is what you are told! And Miami prides itself on being one of the greatest tourist destinations! I would give one BiG ZERO for the insensitivity & insolent behavior of the staff at Novotel!
