I have just come back from a week here with my family. We really enjoyed ourselves, I was really worried having read a lot of negative reviews previously. The good Staff - we found the staff to be helpful and polite. The staff at reception and the flow bar were amazing. Most staff we spoke to could speak (or at least understand English) the kids had a great time using Google translate to help them try to speak Turkish. Pools and facilities - the pools are great. Open from around 8am - 6pm. The slides are open from 10 - 4 with a break for lunch. We did not use the indoor pool in the spa but it looked lovely. The waster slides are great, adults and children were on them all the time. The lifeguards are good at keeping control in this bit. In fact the lifeguards were brilliant the whole time. The kids got their hair done on our last day at the hotel hairdresser - he was lovely and the hairstyles are amazing. We did not use the spa, although I would have loved to get a massage. Food - I enjoyed the food for the most part. It was all very much as expected for a Turkish all inclusive. Lots of meat, cheese, bread, fruit. Breakfast has great options. The fried bread outside by the eggs was a winner in my household. The kids loved the cereal options and all the fruit available. The flow bar or seaso bar were where we had lunch most days. The ice cream was nice by the beach. Dinner had a kebab every day, chips, pasta, chicken, meat, cheese, salads and then some small sample plates which were great. We did not try any of the a la carte restaurants. Drinks come in plastic or paper cups unless you are in the lobby bar. We had no issues with this and you could go up as often as you wanted. I don't drink alcohol but my husband said the beer and mojitos were fine. Room cleanliness - was immaculate our whole stay, fresh towels and sheets daily if we wanted the room cleaned. The mini bar was regularly topped up with water and juice. The hotel shops - a bit pricey but great staff and great selection of floats, goggles, snacks etc. we were there most days - you could quite easily walk 10 minutes down the road to some cheaper shops if you wanted The not so good The lack of space at the pool - there is a sign in the lifts saying they do not allow people to reserve sunbeds but this is not followed at all. Our first three days people were leaving towels out day and night and never taking them in. On our fourth night they started clearing the sunbeds after the pool closed but not stopping people reserving beds early and not using them at all. It is frustrating. I just told the lifeguard them moved towels, but I was usually down there quite early with the kids. Lack of space in the restaurant - it is very busy for breakfast and dinner. Staff are clearly working hard to clear and clean tables but it was difficult to find somewhere to sit sometimes. Evening "entertainment" - was very much focused on adults, children got to dance until about 8.30 and then we're ignored. One night they had a karaoke and wouldn't let children do anything - we were directly told "it will ruin the evening" which devastated my daughter. I'm not sure allowing children to sing would ruin the evening based on the adults I heard but hey. It would have been better to do a children's karaoke for an hour then an adult one afterwards. The Miss NoxInn and the Couples NoxInn competitions were awful and in some cases massively inappropriate to show in front of children- imagine men thrusting a cow bell towards a woman and you get the gist of what the evening was about. It's a shame because the day time dancing, aqua aerobics, water polo, volleyball etc were brilliant but the evening stuff was not great. The kids club - was very basic, some colouring and crafts and that was about it. You could do more if you paid but my girls went once for about half an hour and didn't bother again. The electricity - in your rooms the electric is only on if you put they key into the slot in the wall. No other cards worked. I do understand this to keep costs down but it meant the mini bar fridge was never cold during the day if we were out of the room. Overall we enjoyed our holiday. There weren't many English speaking families there but the kids made friends with lots of others despite not speaking the same language and had a great time. Would I go back... Possibly but my husband found turkey too hot for him in the afternoons so next time we go away we might go somewhere not quite as hot (I loved the sunshine and the heat though!)
