Oakwood Hotel Journeyhub Phuket

It's a classic city hotel with room options (with a view, balcony or hillside etc.). Our room was without balcony or a view but we hardly stayed at room except sleep hours. Housekeeping is a bit rude, reception staff selectively ok. Best part was very helpful restuarant staff (Mukesh and team), Indian food was included in resturant menu. They however charge 7% tax and 10% service charge which make hotel dining a bit expensive. It is better to eat at restaurants on beach front Royal Kitchen, Amritsr etc.) to get better value. Overall Thiland hospitality has lost quality w.r.t. other tourist destinations. Rudeness felt with local taxies, tuk-tuk, 7-11 stores, tourist spots and snacks counters at centers like Tiger Kingdom. Tour operators to Phi-Phi, Maya Bay, 7-Islands gave better treatment and took good care.

The hotel in Patong is very nice and provides a wonderful vacation experience. The staff are attentive and offer excellent service making guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay. The poolside area is beautiful, and the view is truly amazing. Overall it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy a memorable holiday Thank​ you​ so much​ all​ of​ you​ to​ make our wonderfull day we will comeback​ again​.

They dont have in house dinning .. restaurant is managed by other party . Bills cannot be posted in room . No accor points can be burn . We need pay immediately. They say themselves 4 star Pattaya ibis is better thn this ..

Pathetic Pathetic Pathetic it so strictly not recommended place to stay Extremely Disappointing & Overpriced – Not a Mercure Standard My stay at Mercure Journey Hub Phuket was pathetic and completely unacceptable. The rooms were stinking, poorly maintained, and had bugs. Housekeeping was terrible, far below basic cleanliness standards. The hotel felt more like a cheap guest house than a branded property. The check-in experience was bad, and the staff was rude, unprofessional, and extremely casual. What made it worse was that no one was willing to listen to complaints—issues were repeatedly raised but completely ignored. The food and breakfast were bad, with poor quality and limited options. The location is inconvenient, requiring you to spend around 300 baht each time to reach the main areas. To top it all, the hotel is grossly overpriced for what it offers. I was clearly overcharged, and there are far better hotels available in the same price range with proper cleanliness and service. By no means does this property deserve to be called a Mercure hotel. I would strongly not recommend staying here.
