Juan as we called him Juanito he was the bar tender. He made our stay here 10 times better. He was quick service as he helped everyone around us. He was the best bartender we had on this trip. I would definitely be coming back.

Incredible food options, sloooooooow service (Privilege)

Food in the main buffet area is excellent. Everything is fresh and there is an incredible selection of cuisine from across the world. Opening times are also brilliant and flexible for access throughout the whole day. Service in bars and restaurants is incredibly slow. There is a constant long queue (sometimes going out the door) for Mike's coffee and only ever one person staffing the pool bars in the resort. It makes waiting for refreshments incredibly frustrating... you could be waiting up to 30 mins to get a coffee. Just put more staff on!!!! The hotel is very clean throughout - almost spotless. We upgraded to Privilege where you get your own 'butler' who can help you book the restaurants in the evening. You also get access to more expensive/higher quality drinks but they make this very difficult to access. One day we were allowed to order at the pool bar and then told we could only order from the sunbed in the Privilege area. Again, there is only ONE person walking around serving the 60+ sunbeds in the Privilege area... ADD MORE STAFF! I waited over an hour for nachos for the children on one occasion. The hotel is brilliant and there is plenty to explore on the resort. They just really need to get on top of how they meet the demand of all inclusive.

Staff do not accommodate the British well.. lots of hidden charges, such as milk? Upgrades? Shuttle service depending on the colour of your band. Dirty cutlery daily, never a desert spoon on the table and I was there for 2 weeks! Never a teaspoon? Staff only serve you frequently if you are tipping otherwise you wait til you see one free.. bacon / meats burnt to a cinder. Don’t get me started on sun loungers! Told you can’t put your towels until 9am, but they are full by 7am and the security who implement the rules don’t follow them through! Not much in terms of entertainment, the circle has music on, weekly market type stalls that charge the earth. Bucking bronco once in the 2 weeks, karaoke if thats your thing. Nice hotel but definitely not 5 star and will be emailing the hotel manager and TUI. Sea full of seaweed so if you enjoy swimming with it then thats fine but its course on the skin and certainly not relaxing. Group of 4 we all rated 3 star MAX.

We just returned from a week at Ocean Riviera Paradise traveling as a group of 10, including teenagers and seniors. Overall, we had a fantastic week and would recommend this resort for families. A quick clarification for anyone booking: the El Beso (adults-only) section is not fully separate from the rest of the resort. Guests still share many amenities, so if you’re looking for a true adults-only experience, this may not be the best choice. What we loved: Service: Staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Check-in was especially helpful in ensuring our group’s rooms were close together. Food: Exceeded expectations for a mid-range all-inclusive. Plenty of variety and good quality overall. Service was very slow at Route 66 and the steakhouse. Italian was amazing. We didn’t have any trouble getting reservations and were not privilege. We had to book our reservations separate on the app but stopped by the restaurants and asked for a bigger table; as long as everyone had a reservation a bigger table was no issue. Beach Pool and amenities : A standout feature. We walked along neighboring resorts and found this beachfront to be the nicest in the area. The restaurant at the beach was fantastic. Beach is small but the pool made up for it. Amenities: Great options like the sports court and bowling kept everyone entertained. Rooms: Clean and beds were very comfortable. Things to consider: Teen entertainment: Limited and mostly geared toward younger children. This is the main reason we might try a different resort next time. Rooms: While clean and comfortable, there is some noticeable wear and tear. Piano bar: Unfortunately, the piano bar is also used for hookah and had a noticeable smoke smell, so we weren’t able to enjoy it. This was a big disappointment. We spent most of our time at the beach and beach pool, which really made the trip for us. Overall, it was a great vacation with something for everyone in our group.
