Oceanfront Beach Resort and Spa

One of the best hotels. Rooms were clean and spacious. Room service was good the only problem was that we lost a hat after a cleaning session😔. The breakfast was a good selection of international buffet. The swimming pools were clean, beautiful and lovely. The staff were polite. Just don't use the laundry, it ruins your clothes and the gym didn't have good facilities and air conditioning system.

Arrived at 1 pm check-in allowed at 2.30 pm and the process was smooth. We booked one Grand Ocean Room with balcony. Let us now move to the review of facilities and my experience ( Rating have been assigned in a Scale of 1 to 5 , 5 being highest):- A. Location : Located at the sea front in Patongvarea, the hotel is away from the noise of Patong beach The location is very quiet and about 1.5 km from City Centre. Hotel arranges paid airport pick up on request and also have free shuttle to and from Patong Beach City Centre every 30 minutes from 9.30 am till 10 pm. One important point. The hotel foes not have any air-conditioned space in the building excepting the room. Both the restaurants and the lobby area also do not have air- conditioning. If you are not in favour exposed to hot snd humid Phuket weather (like me), this hotel is not meant for you.(Rating 4). B. Room :  Our room in 4th floor was spacious, about 573 square feet in size , very well furnished, with a king sized bed,  cloth storage area, Flat screen TV , small sitting area with coffee table, writing table . Bed was perfectly soft, comfy with linens and multiple pillows . The room had wood vinyl flooring and clean and have all amenities that you expect in a star property viz. tea making facility, refrigerator, minibar, slippers, safe etc. Adequate bottles of water are provided and tea and coffee pouches replaced every day. Toilet was spacious with a seperate shower enclosure, area with bath tub, dressing area and toilet enclosure . Toilet is fitted with sanitary fitings of top quality with hot and cold water. Toileteries like dental kit, shampoo, body wash and body lotion were provided. Towels were rightly soft. Quality of toileteries are of good quality. Room had good air conditioning. Our room had a large sea facing balcony with sitting. The room had very good wifi connection. Adequate drinking water in sealedbottleswere provided and coffee and tea pouches replaced daily(Rating 4.5) C. Facilities : The hotel has all facilities that you expect in a star resort. The lobby and reception area is large with matching decor with sea view. The hotel has business centre, laundry and ironing service, two restaurants, fully stocked bar, spa and wellness centre, outdoor infinity swimming pool with sun umbrellas and cocierge service, tour service, game room etc. Room service is available. (Rating 4.5) D. Dining options: The hotel has limited dining options. Only one restaurant serves all dining options including buffet breakfast. There is a pool side resto bar. There us well stocked Bar at the ground level. Food menu at the restaurant is has wide choice and is also reasonably priced . However, a hotel of it's standard should've more specialiry restaurants and must have an air-conditioned area. Dining at a open hall without air-conditioning in hot and humid Phuket weather is not all enjoyable.(Rating 3.5). E. Overall service : The hotel has very well behaved, extremely polite and service oriented team of staff at the reception and also at its housekeeping. All our needs were met with smile and everybody were ready to help. Communication is a problem area since most of its staff are not very well versed in English. (Rating 4). F. Suggested improvements:- 1. The resort must think of introducing air-conditioned dining area.; 2. Hotel of it's standard should have more dining options.   The location and extremely service oriented team of staffs are some of the major positives of this property. Good option to stay in Phuket, if you love a quiet holiday. (OVERALL RATING 4)

Our stay at the Oceanfront Beach Hotel in March 2025 was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our incredible trip to Thailand! If you're looking for a slice of paradise in Phuket with breathtaking views and exceptional service, this is THE place to be. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning location. True to its name, the hotel boasts an unparalleled oceanfront setting. Waking up each morning to the sight and sound of the turquoise Andaman Sea right outside our window was simply magical. Sunsets from our balcony and the pool area were an absolute spectacle every evening! Here's what made our stay so special: - The Views, The Views, The Views!: Seriously, they are postcard-perfect. Whether from our beautifully appointed room, the infinity pool, or while dining, the ocean was always the star of the show. It was incredibly serene and relaxing. - Beautiful & Comfortable Rooms: Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bed was a dream, and having a balcony to soak in the ocean air and views was a fantastic bonus. All the amenities we needed were readily available. The staff made such an effort for our anniversary! - Exceptional Staff & Service: Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and genuinely eager to please. From the welcoming smiles at reception to the attentive service at the restaurant and the diligent housekeeping team, everyone went above and beyond to make us feel valued and pampered. The staff are this hotel's biggest asset, they are wonderful! - Fantastic Facilities: We made great use of the stunning infinity-edge swimming pool – it's the perfect place to cool off and gaze out at the ocean. The hotel's restaurant served delicious food with, of course, those unbeatable views. Room service was amazing, what a wide selection! - Perfect Location: Situated right on the beach, it offered a wonderful sense of escape and tranquility, yet it was also convenient for exploring other parts of Phuket if we chose to. It struck a great balance. We could hop on a Tuk-Tuk or grab the hotel shuttle if we wanted the bustle, and then the hotel was a peaceful oasis after a busy day of island hopping. The Oceanfront Beach Hotel truly delivered a luxurious and memorable beach holiday experience. It felt like a tranquil oasis where we could completely unwind and soak in the beauty of Phuket. We left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and already planning our return. We highly, highly recommend the Oceanfront Beach Hotel to anyone seeking a special and unforgettable stay in Phuket. We stayed at Oceanfront Beach resort in May 2025.We had booked a grand ocean view room overlooking the sea. View was fabulous whether it was day or night. Staff was helpful and polite. The breakfast was good. I specifically enjoyed the deep fried shrimp cake .

We are a group of four couples who booked four rooms for three nights, expecting a relaxing holiday but left deeply disappointed by the experience. 1.Poor Planning & Lack of Guidance The hotel’s layout is confusing and there are no clear signs or directions to help guests find their rooms. After a long journey, wandering around with luggage in poorly marked corridors is the last thing anyone wants. 2.Misleading Location Information The hotel claims to be just 0.5 km from Patong Beach, but this is misleading. The actual distance is much farther, making it inconvenient to access the main beach area. This misrepresentation set the wrong expectations and caused frustration for our entire group. 3.Room Key & View Issues Two of our rooms were not ready until 8pm-completely unacceptable for a property claiming four or five stars. When we finally received the keys, the rooms had poor views, nothing like what was promised or shown in the booking. 4.Unwelcoming Staff The staff were curt and unhelpful throughout our stay. There was no warmth or hospitality-just a robotic, transactional attitude. At check-in and during other interactions, we felt like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. 5.Breakfast Experience Lacking Hospitality Breakfast service was another low point. At 11am, staff abruptly switched off the fans and insisted breakfast was over, even though we were just finishing what was already on our plates. It took multiple arguments before they reluctantly turned the fans back on. This rigid, inhospitable approach is not what anyone expects from a hotel of this supposed caliber. 6.Falls Short of Claimed Star Rating There is simply no way this hotel meets the standards of a four or five-star property. Between the lack of basic amenities, poor service, and misleading advertising, the experience was far below what we paid for or anticipated. 7.Overall Atmosphere The hospitality here is more reminiscent of a hospital than a hotel-cold, impersonal, and utterly lacking in charm or care for guests’ comfort. 8.Final Thoughts We are extremely disappointed and feel let down on every front. For the price and the promises, this hotel fails to deliver even the basics. We strongly urge management to address these issues immediately. Given these serious shortcomings, we expect the hotel to make amends and offer us upgraded rooms for the remainder of our stay. This is the bare minimum to restore any confidence in your property and show that guest satisfaction actually matters. Disappointed is an understatement.
