We enjoyed our time at this hotel! It really is very quiet and relaxing, and fairly centrally located on the island. The rooms were clean and quiet so I never heard other guests when we were inside, other than when the adjoining room opened or closed the front door. (We stayed in room 1061.) The kitchen is fully stocked and we were able to make simple meals to save some money. I also love that they give you a cooler to bring to the beach. Speaking of, the Bight portion of Grace Bay Beach was a very quick 5 minute drive with ample parking, umbrellas, and lounge chairs. It's next to another property that has a bar and restaurant if you get hungry/thirsty. So really it had everything we needed. We didn't get a chance to use the pool/hot tub at the sister hotel Kokomo, but it looked lovely and we did eat at the We Market Cafe, which was good. The host Suzanna was really great--she was very friendly, helpful, generous and responsive. You don't technically need a car to stay here, as there is a shuttle, though I'm glad we had one so we could go to the supermarket, explore other beaches and not have to be picked up for activities like snorkeling, etc. But if you just plan on hitting the beach for the most part you'd probably be fine without a car. If I could make any adjustments it would be a solid, rather than a slat door for the bathroom, for privacy and so you don't wake the other person up if you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night.
