Dont look any further if you are going to The Maldives. This is one of the best resorts in the world and our experience exceeded all expectations. From the arrival to the departure, everything was 10/10. The rooms, amenity spaces, and food are all 11/10.

Unfortunately, our stay ended on a disappointing note. On our departure day, I arrived at breakfast just five minutes late. Despite informing my butler, I attempted to take some food from the already-cleared buffet, but the staff were not attentive or helpful, leaving us with a negative experience right before check-out. While we appreciated the Food & Beverage Director visiting our table, his responses were very harsh and abrupt. His condescending attitude and communication style were unpleasant and did not reflect the level of hospitality we expected. Throughout our stay, it was extremely difficult to find a waiter, (Beach Club) and orders often arrived late. For a bed & breakfast hotel, the beach operation should be far more efficient and proactive. Despite the very high prices, it was hard to receive value for money from the beach service. Our honeymoon at Reethi Rah One&Only was nothing short of extraordinary - an experience that exceeded every expectation and will stay with us forever. From the very moment we arrived in Malé, we felt exceptionally well cared for. We were warmly welcomed, our luggage was seamlessly taken care of, and we were escorted to the yacht for a breathtaking one-hour journey to the island. The arrival itself already set the tone for what would become an unforgettable stay. Upon reaching the resort, we were greeted with genuine warmth by Jan whose Swiss-German hospitality made us feel instantly at home. Our host, Rasheed, truly elevated our entire experience. He took the time to show us around the island and then introduced us to our stunning and spacious overwater villa #211, which we absolutely fell in love with. The villa was beautifully designed, incredibly comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with countless luxurious amenities. Every detail reflected perfection. It was attended twice a day beautifully by Zakee and team and we received a beautiful special every night. We would like to especially highlight Zakee- he went absolutely out of his way and this is the best what we ever experienced - and we have been to many gorgeous places all over the world. Choosing a favourite restaurant was nearly impossible, as every dining experience was outstanding in its own way. On our first evening, we dined at Tapasake, where we were welcomed by a fantastic team, enjoyed exceptional food, and loved watching sharks glide by beneath us. We also returned for pre-dinner drinks, as the sunset views there are simply magical. We were always catered fantasically by Arpan helping us to choose the perfect wine (even after Arzuaga was drunk out!) and Dilshan. On the second night, we enjoyed pre-drinks at Fandita, again accompanied by a spectacular sunset and wonderful service from a charming and very engaging young waiter. Dinner followed at the Treehouse, which was an absolutely magical experience. The setting, the atmosphere, and the beautiful decorations made the evening feel incredibly special. Our third night was spent with live music at Botanica, which became my personal highlight of the entire trip: thanks largely to Joseph. Not only was the food and atmosphere exceptional and hopelessly romantic, but Joseph took the time to show us the garden at night, which was truly impressive. Seeing zucchinis, chillis, vanilla, passion fruit, and various types of basil growing right there was fascinating! Especially the zucchinis, which I absolutely loved. The experience became even more special the following day when we returned to Botanica, planted our own olive tree, received a private garden tour, and even tasted fresh passion fruit. This moment was deeply meaningful to us and will forever be one of our most cherished memories. On our final evening, we returned to Tapasake, where we were once again welcomed with such warmth and hospitality. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere perfect, and the evening unforgettable. We enjoyed it so much that we even changed our original reservation elsewhere to return - something that speaks volumes about the team and the experience. From the chef to every single team member, Tapasake made us feel truly at home. If we were to highlight a few individuals who made our honeymoon so incredibly special, we would like to mention our host Rasheed first- every wish we had was fulfilled with such care and dedication. Joseph will always hold a very special place in our hearts for creating such meaningful and unforgettable moments. And of course, the entire Tapasake team, who turned every visit into something extraordinary. We also want to mention Zakee explicitly. His care deeply impressed us. This was, without a doubt, the perfect honeymoon. We enjoyed every single second and cannot recommend this experience enough. One of the most amazing experiences we have ever had. The location ,the views, the staff everything and every one was so welcoming. Our host helped us so much with everything and was always ready to fulfill pur requests. The resort had so many attractions and activities that 8 days were just not enough. Definitely will be going back.

What a dream vacation — truly a special, unforgettable experience. I loved every minute here and honestly couldn’t have imagined a better stay. From the moment I landed, everything was seamless. I was greeted the second I exited customs, escorted directly to the yacht, and on the island within an hour. The welcome at O&O was warm and genuine — staff waiting, smiles everywhere, and my villa host giving me a full tour before taking me to the villa. The island itself is pristine and stunning, with lush greenery and an incredible sense of privacy. You rarely see other villas, which makes the whole experience feel intimate and exclusive. The only drawback was the presence of mini CAT bulldozers due to maintenance on certain villas; the sight of heavy machinery did detract from the ambiance at times. Ideally, this should be limited to very early morning or late evening when guests aren’t out enjoying the island. The service, however, is exceptional. Professional, polished, warm, and heartfelt — especially the Maldivian staff who added something truly special. My villa host, Hameed, was phenomenal: always available, prompt, and attentive, and he made my stay unforgettable. Rose’s unpacking service was wonderful, and housekeeping and turndown were consistently excellent. Buggy service was prompt but could be slow at times during peak periods. In villa dining was great as well. You could tell that the staff at O&O take a lot of pride in their jobs and in the resort. I really felt this consistently. I also truly loved the hands over heart greeting that EVERY SINGLE STAFF MEMBER addressed me with. It was extremely heartwarming, and I felt seen, and valued as a guest. I stayed in Grand Water Villa #154, and it was gorgeous. Spacious, immaculate, beautifully designed — even the standard water villas are stunning. I loved the closet and vanity layout and the incredible bathtub overlooking the Indian Ocean. Absolutely breathtaking. The Grand Water Villas also come with a jacuzzi and a large pool; on rainy days the jacuzzi was pure heaven. And the ladder leads straight into the most magical lagoon. The dining is fantastic, especially breakfast — truly outstanding. The selection of cuisines across the buffet and à la carte menu makes it a dream. Service in the morning is warm, welcoming, and attentive. Tapasake was another highlight; the sushi was among the best I’ve ever had, and the restaurant itself is visually stunning. The main pool area beside Reethi restaurant is gorgeous, with the long infinity pool and then the other pool under the trees. Visually stunning. Lifeguards were always present, and helpful. Pool service was excellent. With regards to the activities, I did not really explore any of them. However, I did do the photoshoot, and while the photos were edited very well, I think the photographer could be better at guiding his subject into poses, and give better creative direction. I've done a lot of photoshoots around the world, and this one was not as well done as others. Still, very happy with the photos! Larissa, the resort manager, was also present throughout the stay, greeting guests and making sure everything felt personal and well looked after. Everything was fabulous. Overall I cannot wait to return!
