You're sure to appreciate the recreational amenities, which include 3 outdoor swimming pools, an outdoor tennis court, and a fitness center. Honeymoon dream

We loved our stay at Palafitos! From the moment we arrived until we departed the staff made our stay stress free, relaxing, and that we were completely cared for. Alberto ensured we never lifted a finger or ever had to walk too far ☺️ Mauricio really set the bar for what great service looks like. He knew when we needed pool towels, remembered our drink orders, made sure the food was exactly what we wanted to eat and truly put the finishing touches on this top notch stay. We hardly left the bungalow, had snacks, meals and drinks delivered for most of what we needed. We only ventured out to use the hydrotherapy at the spa, which was included once per day during our stay-I highly recommend trying it! The food was excellent and the chef was more than willing to accommodate protein requests to sub out seafood, which made it much easier trip for me to enjoy meals with my seafood loving husband. The seaweed is a big topic for everyone and while we had some windy days that pushed in a lot of stinky sea grass, the resort is working as hard as they can to keep it clean. It kept us from using the beach but didn’t stop us from getting in the water directly from the bungalow. We were in 1625, on the T but facing the shore and it didn’t congregate around the bottom. This was a honeymoon splurge and worth every penny, we will be working to come back as soon as we can!

Great place for a honeymoon! Room was cleaned very well every day. The butlers Pilar and Mauricio were amazing! Also Alberto was very friendly and timely. The food was so good with lots of options. Great excursion options! Overall such a great place!

Week in paradise with exceptional hospitality

Amazing and rarely does the location look better in person than in photos but this was the exception. Very clean, modern, and well manicured. Staff are all amazing! Kind, generous, and fun.

Unfortunately, I am a little late writing this review. Nonetheless, the Palafitos Over Water Bungalows are simply amazing. When we arrived, we were greeted by Alberto - he simply set the tone for the entire vacation. He also checked with us daily to make sure our stay was meeting our expectations. Our butlers, (Daniel and unfortunately, I do not remember the name of the other butler) were fantastic and were there for all our needs and requests. Check-in was fast, and the staff was very polite - again checking to see if we had any special requests. Recreation staff at the pool kept everyone entertained throughout the day - and made sure they checked with guests to ensure they were having a great time. The July 4th celebration was fantastic. In this day and age, there are many choices. We do a lot of traveling, and decided to make a second visit to Palafitos Overwater Bungalows in July.

Pure Luxury

From 2/19–2/24, with everything happening in the world, Palafitos felt like the most beautiful and peaceful escape. We had the absolute best girls trip! From the relaxing massages and swimming with dolphins to tequila tasting, a camel ride along the beach, and incredible live entertainment—Palafitos truly exceeded every expectation. The staff is amazing—so kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. You don’t have to lift a finger for a thing. This is pure luxury at its finest.
