Easter family hols in Turkey. As a family of 5 we stayed at the Palmin Hotel during the Easter School holidays 2025. Firstly the hotel was always nice and clean. Certain areas such as the rooms appeared to be newly refurbished and were in good order and nicely decorated. The weather was a bit up and down, but I suppose you expect that for April. Because of this the outdoor pool was to cold to go in, with only a few brave souls venturing into the water. Small heated indoor pool available though for when its too cold outside. One other negative we found was the restaurant was probably a little small when not able to use the outside area at this time of year. At certain times it got very busy with difficulty in finding somewhere to sit. Furthermore, the food was not the best in terms of the amount of choice and often very much the same from day to day. If you like fruit there is very little choice, with only apples and oranges available. However, on a more positive note, on the whole the staff are great. Working tirelessly, they can often not do enough for you. They were always helpful and attentive, from the front of house staff, to the waiters and housekeeping, all brilliant. I can't continue without also mentioning the entertainment staff, who I can honestly say were amazing and probably the best I have ever come across. Special shout out to Atakan from the entertainment who seemed to always go above and Beyonce to make you feel welcome and would often take the time to just stop and chat. When the weather was dull Atakan and his team were always bright and there to cheer you up. He could even cheer Lola my step daughter up, making her smile and laugh. Interms of location, the hotel is probably about 2 miles from the resort center. Taxis are always available right outside and costs about 200 lira (£5) each way to town. If you fancy the bus, you can catch a dolmus mini bus right outside the hotel, will probably be about half the price of the taxi to get you into town, but doesn't go directly there so takes longer. There are 3 shops in the reception area of the hotel and one down by the pool for some cheap (fake) clothes, bags etc and for your everyday items. Additionally, there are a few shops about 100m down the road including a small supermarket, which is better and cheaper for your everyday items. Scott Henderson
