First family holiday

First family holiday abroad with 6&4 year old. Very apprehensive as first holiday. But we had great time. I have food intolerances and on arrival I was taken by staff around the restaurant. All food had labels for allergens. Staff got to know me and they would bring me the breakfast basket for my choices and able to offer few other items as well. I had to pre book time we would be coming for lunch and evening meal as mine was freshly prepared. Some days I forgot but staff were very helpful. Mine came out pipping hot and I had no issues with the food. Good selection on the menu for the week. Kids always had something to eat and Never hungry. The meat wasn’t piping hot but there were no issues with the food. Dessert selection was very good. Staff in restaurant were very pleasant interacting with the children and very helpful. Always clean and tidy. No issues getting a table or getting food. Location good. Bus stop was only down the street to get to the water park and zoo. Water park and zoo very good. We didn’t realise we had no bus transfers with our zoo tickets but on asking the hotel reception staff they sorted this all out for us with no issue. Thank you. Great atmosphere in the hotel. All staff were pleasant and so friendly with the children. Kids club, our kids enjoyed going. Staff all friendly and kids were asking to get back every day. Doing different activities daily. Entertainment at pool side was good some For us to do when kids were in kids club. Evening entertainment for kids was interactive and children enjoyed. Rooms were cleaned and towels changed daily. We had a 2 bedroom apartment across from the pool. Spacious. Noise levels were no issue in the evening. Overall we had a great time away. Can’t fault the hotel or the staff. We would return again. Friendly clean hotel

Chose this hotel based on the facilities it offers, as it has a large family swimming pool and adult only separate areas. Staff are friendly and the hotel works very efficiently. Rooms are clean, beds very comfortable with housekeeping every day. There was a kettle with tea, coffee, UHT milk and sugar. Replenished daily. There is an entertainment team and children's club as well as evening entertainment. Location wise it's further out than I had expected however the hotel provide a free shuttle bus to the beach although you can walk there, downhill of course it's then up hill on the way back. There are plenty of taxis should you need one. As always Tenerife has wonderful sunny weather. We stayed all inclusive and the food was very good, tasty, plenty of selection. If you want any extra snacks or are half board there are two supermarkets very close by.

Paradise Park hotel

We had a very enjoyable stay at Paradise Park hotel. This hotel is situated close to the coast and there are lots of shops/ restaurants nearby. The food in the hotel was excellent-lots of choice. The housekeeping team and hotel staff were very helpful. The hotel is close to the South Tenerife Christian fellowship in the Apolo shopping centre.

This was our first time at the hotel, we were greeted by a lovely man on reception Daniel. He checked us in and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. We were helped with our luggage to the room which was really appreciated. We had a two bedroom apartment which was a little dated but adequate for what we needed. We had a quick look around the area which is very close to shops and bars to suit all ages. We then came back for dinner. We were seated then just left to it, we had no idea about the drinks allowed on the half board basis etc as no one explained this to us so this was a little disappointing, we therefore just had a glass of water. The food was ok but not very hot which is quite common at buffet style restaurants. Breakfast was very busy and again not very hot but good choice of food. Another negative for us was the noise from the recycling collection every morning between 6-8 very loud clashing of bottles which woke us every day. Our room was 265 so be prepared for the noise. I had requested a quiet room which wasn’t provided. Overall though a good hotel in a great location and the courtesy bus is excellent. I would stay here again but on the other side of the hotel.

Very disappointing stay in this hotel

The food was truly awful. Good selection but tasteless, badly presented and only warm. I have hated my stay here and will never return. Double check the room you are getting stay clear of the dungeon rooms 1st floor we were put in 410. The space between bed and wall was width of my small suitcace. In fairness after complaining we were moved to a better floor 5th with room only slightly bigger. Wasted a day moving. Bring your own shampoo & conditioner. A noisy place.
