A few things they could improve. 1. No free shuttle to or from the airport 2. Not enough yoga mats and the ones they have are poor quality and you slip. 3. No large sign of the day’s activities, you have to scan a QR code and then the print is very small and no clear oversight. 4. Main dinning hall is very noisy. Positive: the pool are great. Especially if you want to go for a long swim, then swim along the housing. Our room was great. Good housekeeping.

From the very beginning, the staff made the planning process feel effortless. Aldo was amazing and was so helpful with our room blocks and helping out our guest with any questions they had. And Vanessa was absolutely incredible and made our experience stress- free and enjoyable. She was genuinely invested in making our special day perfect. Every detail was handled with care, allowing us to relax and truly enjoy the moment. We are so grateful for her hard word, care, and dedication. The resort itself is absolutely stunning, providing the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding. The ceremony setting was breathtaking, and the reception was flawlessly executed. Our guests are still talking about how incredible everything was—from the atmosphere to the food to the service. Our accommodations were just as amazing—clean, comfortable, and luxurious, with thoughtful touches that made our stay even more special. It felt like the perfect place to celebrate such an important milestone in our lives. What truly sets this resort apart is the people. The staff went above and beyond at every turn, making us feel supported, celebrated, and cared for throughout our entire stay. Wonderful family holiday, great resort for kids!

We had a wonderful family holiday at Paradisus Playa Del Carmen. We went over March break 2026, and we booked a Family Concierge swim-up room, which was perfect. From start to finish, we had a wonderful time. The staff is a huge asset to this resort - they are all wonderful, helpful, and kind. The resort is also small enough that you don’t feel like you are spending all your time just walking between places, but there is still plenty to do. We arrived a couple of days before March break started and the resort was much quieter, but once break kicked in on the Saturday, the place was absolutely packed. Tons of families with children, but it still didn’t feel crowded. This resort also REALLY caters to kids - they do a lot of special activities and fun things for kids to participate in, like the nightly kids activities (piñata, crafts, bouncy castles, cookie decorating) plus REALLY excellent family entertainment - the shows were incredible!! Our family really loved the “Neon” show which was so unique and fun to watch, but the circus and magic shows were also both really entertaining for kids and adults alike!! There are also lovely cabanas all around the property for lounging which is a great touch. The family concierge option is fantastic for families. Firstly, you don’t have to worry about booking any of the restaurants or any bookable things yourself - the concierge can take care of all of that for you. Second - there were so many lovely surprises for kids left in the room! I don’t want to spoil all of the surprises but they are delightful. It also includes a half-day cenote excursion which was a lot of fun. Our wonderful concierge was named Erika, and she was a delightful person and so helpful. A couple of small points to mention: the restaurant quality overall is really good, with the exception of the Italian restaurant. We’d skip that one next time. Second - the beach had a lot of seaweed on some days, so much that it was not swimmable - but it cleared later in the week. This is seasonal between March - June in the area, so to be expected. Overall we had a wonderful time at Paradisus - it’s a great holiday for families and highly recommended!!

The Excellent New’s Year’s Family vacation

An excellent family trip to celebrate the New Year—a truly lively celebration. Our compliments go out to the entire bar and restaurant staff in the Family Concierge area; they were extremely attentive and provided premium service. The drinks were top-shelf, and the à la carte restaurants for dinner were excellent. The food and beverage service at the main pool was superb, with staff always attentive to ensure you never lacked for anything. The waitstaff at the Family Concierge snack bar were highly professional and attentive; every morning, simply upon seeing me come down from my room, they already had my espresso ready. We are very grateful for the upgrade we received to the Family Concierge section, courtesy of our status as Expedia VIP members. We 100% recommend that families traveling with children upgrade to the Family Concierge section.
