I am a frequent traveler and usually travel at least seven times a year, three of which are international trips. Today, during check-out at the Paripas Hotel, I experienced one of the worst moments of my life. When I handed the keys to the receptionist, he checked my room and said everything was in order (room 1108). However, he mentioned that in the room where my mother and mother-in-law were staying (room 1111), a red bag was missing. Immediately, I asked them about the bag, and both claimed they hadn’t seen anything. I also didn’t remember seeing such an item in my room, and to be honest, it was an object of no significant value. Meanwhile, I called a taxi to the airport, as I was running very late, and the hotel receptionist had to rush to prevent the taxi driver from starting my trip to the airport! It was a moment of great embarrassment, all because of a bag. My mother-in-law became extremely upset and started opening the suitcases in the middle of the street, spilling her clothes on the ground. The receptionist, in turn, began to search everything, but nothing was found! He even demanded that we open my wife’s and my suitcases, which were in the adjacent room. This situation was the greatest humiliation I have ever experienced. I do not recommend this hotel; think carefully before making a reservation here. Even now, we are feeling unwell due to the stress over such an insignificant item! I will make sure to post on Instagram the video I recorded about the humiliation we experienced in the middle of the street, and share it across all travel channels, TripAdvisor, blogs, etc.
