Perfectly comfortable hotel with lovely comfy ENORMOUS beds and powerful aircon. We appreciated the 4 bottles of water provided daily and the in-room coffee and tea station. Lovely big pool area and friendly, helpful staff. Excellent location right on the beachfront. Seminyak is crazily busy and the beach is a bit grimy, but we were able to hire surfboards right across from the hotel and enjoy some time in the water. The rooftop restaurant/bar was closed the entire time we were there, but as the food downstairs was just average on the first night, we dined out the rest of the time anyway - lots of great choices within easy walking distance. Overall it was clean and convenient, and we enjoyed a wonderful massage in the very well-priced spa.

Once again we have had an amazing stay in the Suite Room at Pelangi. We absolutely love staying here because of the following reasons. The staff are all so friendly, polite and accomodating. Always smiling and make us feel special. The food is greatly improved from last year. We really enjoyed eating in the restaurant. Also it is a very reasonable price. The suite room is very luxurious and the extras we receive when staying there are much appreciated. Laundry each day, afternoon tea every day, the mini bar, wine and flowers are lovely, The return visit sunset dinner is absolutely beautiful. The pool is wonderful, we always agree the best in any hotel we stay at. The hotel is directly on the beach with sun lounges you can lie in all day and watch the passing activity. There is a wonderful pathway along the beach all the way to Kuta with numerous bars, restaurants to stop at along the way, The Indonesian locals are so friendly and lovely. We stay here every year and are planning to stay here for many more years to come. It is our second home in Bali.

nice and quiet option in generally noisy area

Pelangi is midrange option and looking a little bit worn though the bedding was very crisp and new. Much of the beach and hotels along the whole region from Kuta to Seminyak now affected by loud 'doof, doof' music until late at nite from many beach clubs. Pelangi rooms set back from beach so avoid this noise but also far enough away from main road inland where is also a lot of traffic noise and some karaoke + DJ bars = makes Pelangi and perfect oasis of peace and quiet

This was our second time at this great little motel, great location, great staff, great rooms always cleaned to perfection. The dinning area is open area which we love and is a great way start to the day. Centrally located to shops,pubs,restaurants and just step across a small lane way and you are on the beach. Small circle K out the front for all your needs. We will be back
