Location is pretty good. Short 5 minute walk to sea front where you can walk easily to the harbour or marina. Hotel staff are friendly, place is clean (very thorough room cleaning staff) and bar food was good quality for lunch. Breakfast was fine, nice cakes, small porridge pots, hot food was just ok. We got up late some days and had breakfast at the Bella vista restaurant which had great crepes and brunch choices sitting right next to an amazing sea view. It’s about ten mins walk and kids loved it. Koako restaurant also five mins walk close to the sea front is outstanding and again good kids choices. Mom’s kitchen further down the strip in a beautiful white stone street is also worth visiting even if you have to wait a few mins. I went to the gym in Peridis but was very disappointed. Equipment was bordering on dangerous with feed slippage on the thread-mill making it easy to fall. Stair climber had an electric clicking noise when plugged in. Bikes also had minor issues. There was no air con I could see, towels or water. Only other point is on leaving you are allocated a room to place luggage in which there was an overflow so we had to put ours outside the room. There was no air con getting ready or in the luggage area so not a pleasant exit. I read a lot about Sunbeds so I was up early with towels and stayed there until the rest of the family came down (good for some quiet time) . We came down late a few days but had no problem getting sunbeds. It’s a challenge for most hotels. Overall the experience was good.
