The hotel itself is okay, but issues with staff and services. You do need to be reasonably active as it is on a steep hill. The main road is 0.75 miles away & the beach 1.25 miles. We walked down & got local taxis back. (300baht and 200 if from very bottom of hill, so very expensive, but Phuket way dearer that other parts of Thailand. Grab and Bolt taxis are very difficult to book to take you back up, hence having to use the local ones. Room wasn't ready for 3pm. Food sevice slow and they left out one part of our order on one meal. Room not cleaned one day as they came early at 8.45, still in bed and then they didn't come back. However the main issue was with the cleaner throwing stuff away that was on the cabinet by the TV side and not rubbish. One item was irreplaceable as not made anymore. A bottle that the lid is a wine glass, they threw the bottle away. We were later back that day as had been to Phuket old town and the receptionist said to come back in the morning after speaking to the cleaner. When I went back the next morning, a different receptionist basically called me a liar and that the cleaner didn't throw our stuff away. I said why would I throw my own item away that I've had for 10 years. The manager came over and half hearted apologised saying they have new cleaners and the rubbish had been collected already. Then tried to make a joke of it by saying, oh renew renew, new things! I'm like I can't renew it as not made any more and why would I need to if it hadn't been thrown away. I was disgusted at being called a liar, them not even being really sorry and you would like to think they might have waivered our small 800 baht drink bill as some compensation, an apology and something towards the cost of buying some kind of replacement, but nothing.
