One weeks stay , July. Location is beautiful, overlooking one of the prettiest beaches in Mykonos. Downside is that it's very isolated , there is literally nothing in Kalo Livadi, not even a small store, so transport is essential - the nearest bus stop is a hard , hot uphill walk of about 30 minutes. Otherwise minimal €50 taxi to town. Aesthetically the hotel is beautiful, however, our room (33) was poor. Very basic, only a flimsy transparent window blind so room floods with light at sunrise, every other room has wooden shutters. No private outside space. Underneath bed is filthy. 6 hangers for 2 people. One roll of toilet paper supplied. Outside, nice pool, adjoining bar area which was never manned, apparently if you want a drink, you go to reception and someone comes to bar to serve you(!) Hotel restaurant- on the one day we decided to have lunch, the absolute only available food was - toast or plain crisps (!) Pool towels are supplied, but this morning they weren't available till 10:30. Fresh towels forgotten to be left in room twice. Staff are pleasant but on deciding that we wanted to check out on day 5 of 7 to relocate to a hotel nearer town, we were met with almost stoney silence , a quick check that we didn't owe any incidental payments, and a cursory goodbye, we weren't even asked if we'd enjoyed our stay.
