Poonsiri resort Thailand DONT BOOK

Do not book this place. My family booked 2 bungalows with private pool. We traveled from airport for 2hrs got checked in and it was stunning . We all went in 1 pool with a nice British cup of tea. I turned round to be swarmed by monkeys they pinched the cups of tea and where being very aggressive. We all made a decision to check out after 1hr. We were told we couldn’t have full refund but could have one night each refunded. Thank god we had only booked 2 nights

The setting is beautiful. Next door to an elephant sanctuary and lots of wildlife around the lodges. Lodges were beautiful. Could be cleaner but mostly okay. A lot of people were complaining about the monkey during our visit. However, we didn’t have any issues, we enjoyed seeing them! Although you do need to be careful that you leave your door locked and do not leave anything on the balcony as the monkeys will likely take it! Also be prepared to be bitten by mosquitoes as there are a lot around the pool and on the balcony, make sure you bring some repellent. Breakfast not the best but food you could order at lunch was very nice! Drinks were also good!

Bad...bad ..bad

Very bad non adjusting staff .food was badthey stole our cap.we used the gown at pool and kept in laundry for washing.while checout they stay asking for money.later they cleared that there staff took it to laundry.they didn't even apologised...will never recommend
