We stayed here for just one night before going into the main hub of Ao Nang. It’s surrounded by nature and greenery which is pleasant. I had read quite a number of negative reviews regarding the monkeys, they didn’t bother us at all during our stay. We saw a couple on the fence near the entrance to the resort but that was all. Staff do remind you to not leave balcony doors unlocked etc. Pool area was fairly small, but we were able to get a sun bed. The resort advertises free bicycle use, however all the bikes available either had a puncture, no brakes, or the chain was off and rusted, these are not maintained at all. Rooms were nice with a good size bathroom and overlooked the lagoon. We tried to get a grab/bolt a couple of times to go into the centre (after the free shuttles had finished) but none were available, might have just been our bad luck but something to keep in mind. Having stayed in both Poonsiri and Ao Nang beach I much prefer the beach area which has everything within walking distance, however if you want an escape into a more tranquil setting this place could be what you’re after. Breakfast we found to be average.
