Porto Bello Beach

We’ve just got back from a holiday at this hotel.lets start with the positives • food- the restaurant food was beautiful very well presented, really delicious and the chef worked hard, probably the best food from an all inclusive we’ve had • the beach -was beautiful with various water sports to enjoy, free pedlos to use. • rooms, lovely clean rooms with a beautiful view probably the best view we’ve ever had. bins always emptied and fresh towels left, fresh water always left daily in the fridge • pools - always kept clean and always sunbeds around, no sunbed wars • drinks- lots of choice of drinks, particularly the milkshakes from the beach bar, no complaints there. • water park- brilliant water park with a lazy river Negatives • reception staff - very rude, upon arrival they tried to charge us an extra €350 euro for an upgraded room that I only enquired about via email, even though they did not reply to my request, I did call to enquire and asked a price and they told me that I could ask for an upgrade upon arrival if I wanted but there was no confirmation of this. When I refused to pay €350 and said no I would like to just keep it how it is I was then told they didn’t have a room for us, we were left in the lobby early hours with young children absolutely exhausted and emotional just wanting to go to bed, after alot of mess around they tried putting us in a room with one double bed to share, I refused as it would not be possible to share a double bed for us all, they then said we could have a room but only for one night and go back to reception to see whether they could sort somewhere for us to stay, obviously we couldn’t sleep with worry not knowing whether we would have anywhere to stay, I then went to the reception the next morning to talk to the TUI rep she managed to keep us where we were, it’s a good job we had booked through TUI else it would have been an awful situation on a foreign country with children, this caused a lot of stress, but after it was sorted we had a good holiday, • snack bars- the only choices for snacks through out the day were hot dogs, burger or a very dry cheese and bread, really not ideal for families, we’ve been on a lot of AI holidays and this was not good at all. If you miss breakfast lunch and tea times you’re screwed . Pool area- the flooring was not nice at all, it really hurts your feet, not ideal for children’s little toes. • water park- doesn’t include drinks or food you have to buy it, not ideal. We had a fantastic holiday and the area was beautiful and the hotel was also beautiful, with a few tweets it would be perfect.

Had a wonderful Cretian massage with Ergis. Truly gorgeous experience from beginning to end. Perfect pressure and had such a kind manner. Feeling totally relaxed after it. Would highly recommend!

The hotel had a very good atmosphere and the people were amazing – always kind, friendly, and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the whole place was beautiful and relaxing. The service was excellent, and I really enjoyed my stay here. I would definitely come back for a second time and highly recommend this hotel to others.
