No Hot Water-Unresponsive Management

We had a very unsatisfactory experience in unit 2010-2 in our recent stay. Water temperature in shower was tepid at best. We contacted Yokasta at SoFla who sent the blg engineer who confirmed that a plumber needed to change out the cartridge in the shower to allow more hot water. We were informed by Yokasta that the water temp was not within their control and was regulated by the blg. This was patently not true. On the 3rd night of our stay we were offered another unit. We moved at 10pm to a unit that had hot water. We were very grateful. However, at 10am we were asked to move back to our original unit where a plumber had corrected the hot water issue. Obviously the hot water issue could have been easily solved after we first notified SoFla of the problem. Moving all of our possessions and groceries for a 12 hr stay in another unit was not what we had expected. Was very stressful experience which ruined a good part of our vacation. Also, would advise that unit 2010-2 is very run down.

STAY AWAY from SoFLA

STAY AWAY from anything offered by SoFla Vacations. For a room the size of a closet in a town outside Miami they not only placed a hold on the credit card for 3 days but they also required us to fill out a form holding us to all sorts of penalties and fees . . . PLUS after an hour and a half drive to get there they hadn't even posted our reservation, so the hotel staff had no record of us. Our first thought, given the hold on the card and that ridiculous form we had to sign our lives away on for a ONE-NIGHT STAY (the credit card hold ended up being nearly as much as the room price for the night) was that we were the victims of a scam. We weren't. But like all such entities in South Florida, they want to take as much financial advantage of you as they can. And they are vicious when it comes to grabbing your money. Good Lord. Did they want us to rent the space or not?? Not exactly welcoming for a return visit. STAY AWAY.

Great location but infested with bugs, poor customers service...... never staying again.

We were there for a wedding. It was a great location. We booked 3 studio rooms for 3 days. None of the rooms were super clean. However on the second day two of the rooms were infested with bugs/cockroaches. We contacted the office and they were over booked so they would not help. They finally offered to get us 10% off (wow) but even that never happened. They ghosted us after a few days. To top it off one of the elevators was broken the entire time we were there. You are also not able to see the room until you check in, each room is decorated differently, furniture is random and looks like it was left over from a garage sale.

Worst experience and filthy condo for high cost

1 star as location was great but everything else was a disaster during our month-long stay: Booked a condo with 2 baths, full kitchen and laundry and lost our first day waiting in limbo to move from unit 918 to the correct one in 2014; the tub was clogged and the toilet didn't flush in the new unit; only 1 small towel provided; dishes in cabinet were dirty and had to be washed; bathroom smells of mold/urine and needed to be disinfected; kitchen table and chairs still had food on them; furniture worn out and very low quality, very limited supplies like soap and t paper, and there was no notice that the onsite restaurant/bar was closed. Then water turned off for afternoon with no notice. After numerous unanswered calls Liza was responsive and I appreciate her help but these issues should have never been on the list if your units were properly maintained. Do NOT book Arya condos through this management co!!!

If it's important to you to get the room you think you booked, you might want to look elsewhere. They sell "types" of rooms and show various photos but apparently reserve the right to move you into whatever they feel like. I had this experience recently. I even emailed them in advance to confirm I would be in the same room I saw in the photos. Arrived only to have the start of our vacation turn very stressful because they had moved us into another room on the other side of the building that was totally different. They argued it was similar enough, which Airbnb said was ridiculous. Airbnb cancelled the reservation and gave me several hundred dollars in additional compensation because that's how ridiculous it was. Andrew Korge and Riccy "Rebeca" Orozco told me that i only booked a room type and that the algorithm had changed my room because someone else wanted the nicer one I was in for a longer stay. Interestingly, the room they moved us to isn't pictured in any of their Airbnb listings! If it's so comparable, why hide it? Very shady tactics all around.
