Ramada Resort by Wyndham Kusadasi

Stayed at Ramada for 7 nights, was a beautiful experience! Animation team are amazing at getting you involved and make the holiday a special experience, Ceren and Coco are especially great! Lovely and friendly people. The hotel overall is great and the food is lovely and they have a great variety for all eaters. Rooms are a great size and all staff are friendly! Wouldn’t recommend this hotel !

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire hotel was well-maintained. The food was delicious, with a great variety of choices every day, so everyone could find something they enjoyed. We would especially like to thank the animation team they were friendly Coco and tuana amaizing energetic, and made our holiday even more enjoyable. The entertainment programs and activities for both adults and children were excellent. The staff were always kind and helpful. Thank you for making our vacation so special. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back again!🌺

We were super excited about this hotel, especially because of the reviews. Having read more reviews since leaving I'm gobsmacked at the ongoing 5* feedback. We travel a lot and certainly dont expect perfection. A headline for this review is poor service, dirty, uncaring and unsafe. We have a complaint pending with our operator also. Booked for May half term. Arrived and had a two hour wait for our room - after the advertised check in time. Not such an issue but it set the tone for the rest of the week. We travelled with 3 children aged 14, 13 and 2. This wasnt what we needed after a 4am start. Our room, when finally ready was dirty and in what seemed to be the bowels of the hotel. Right by the staff area. Over the week, those staff treated us to noisy 6am wake ups, drilling outside, smoking with the smell waking us up if the noise hadn't. On day 2, after using the toilet in reception we noticed someone being sick. We were then hit with our own vomiting and diarrhea bug just 4 hours later which ran through our family. This wiped out 3 days of our holiday. We were stuck to our room, rang our operator who said they'd ring the hotel and assured us the hotel would have a procedure. I was terrified about the 2 year old being sick over the bed. We asked reception for towels, a sick bucket and water. What arrived was towels, no water and a horrible big dirty mop bucket. We chased water again. We also asked for deep clean, the operator asked them for a deep clean. The baby was indeed sick on our bed and we asked for our bedding to be changed 3 times before it was done and demanded a deep clean at reception. Noting by day 7 this was the only clean our room received. This set the tone for our week. Despite being ill and not wanting to get food or drink, the hotel kindly delivered a hand written note and 4 pieces of fruit for our party of 5. Once. One of the most worrying things for me was the state of the cot left for our baby. No mattress on the hard base, folded sheets which were dangerous, broken arms, a rip in the side TOTALLY UNSAFE and not in keeping with safe sleep practices. He slept with us all week. Other areas for review - What was good - pools are lovely and the kids area good - plenty of sun beds - the food was excellent, plentiful, hot and fresh. The chefs work exceptionally hard. - what we saw of entertainment was good - the lounge bar was good for evening, staff in there very helpful - the cats are lovely and no bother - waffles and ice creams are fab What else was awful - the cats aren't the hygiene problem - the people are. Why on earth you are allowed hot food at sunbeds is beyond me. People left dirty plates with food on piled up. Cats come and pick at the plates. There is no where near enough cleaning happening at that pool. I even saw someone eating in the pool. - sunloungers are plentiful but you are packed in like sardines. Not such a problem but as smoking is still allowed next to the pool you are dealing with that and dirty ashtrays - drinks are rubbish, unless you like beer. No decent wines, spirits meh. - the place is filthy. If you look above the bread section in the restaurant it is THICK with dust, the kids food section was vile (this was amongst so many things we saw) - the staff are inconsistent, a few good but appear to lack supervision amd standards - you are sold to constantly. Reception is a bazaar, people approach you constantly to get you to restaurants or activities - the "private" beach we thought would be a treat. The sun loungers are in a terrible state, it is rocky, crawling with flying ants and dirty. We pulled a load of rubbish out. There is free food and drink but not much choice and its in the middle of nowhere. - cleaning appears inconsistent. Im used to seeing an army of housekeepers in the morning at foreign hotels each morning - here we saw none - kids park was literally falling to pieces with me son pulling a huge bolt out - despite being a 4* hotel, the standards were poor in the room. We had 2 hangers for a party of 5, no working air con in 1 bedroom, a TV but remote with no batteries, a safe that didnt work.but decided to start beeping at 4am, no spare pillows, no bath mat. The final straw for us was when my partner and kids went on the black slide. The water in our opinion is too shallow for the angle of the pool. There are no lifeguards at the top either, despite signs saying there is. Didnt realise the issue here til too late. He ended up banging into the bottom of the pool and slicing his elbow open needing immediate stitches amd hospital intervention. Not only did the lifeguard at the bottom not attend to him dripping blood everywhere, but this was never recorded as an accident by the hotel. Its hard to be positive about this place, my favorite time there was sitting at the exit waiting for the bus to take me home. Since being home 2 of our party have needed antibiotics and my partner has had to have xrays from coming off the slide. If you value cleanliness, health and safety and your families welfare, please steer clear. And to the hotel - please dont even bother replying. You didnt care when we were there, we are not interested in your response now. Cheers.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks in May. The 1st week was very busy due to a Turkish holiday. Queues at the pool bar got busy. While people from England & Ireland queued for drinks, others decided they didn’t want to queue and just skipped up to the bar and ordered their drinks in the local language. The staff didn’t seem to care. The paper cups they use for drinks are a nightmare. The beer foams up in them and you end up with a half a beer per cup. Other all inclusive hotels we have stayed at have reusable plastic cups for drinks. Bring your own plastic cups or small coffee flasks for the drinks. Food is excellent, we couldn’t fault it at all. Always plentiful and good quality. Just don’t be expecting Irish sausages & rashers in the breakfast buffet like my kids did!! The themed restaurants nearly give too much food (4 courses) so a lot wasn’t eaten. Only thing I’d suggest is that ice creams should be available for the kids all day, not just from 2pm to 4pm. Again other all inclusive hotels we’ve stayed at have a freezer with small ice creams available for the kids all day. The pool had to be closed twice during our stay to be cleaned. The signs they put up said “Please ensure kids wear swim nappies in the pool”. That from that what you will!! We felt the last few days there are most guests than available sun loungers. The water slides are brilliant fun for everyone!! Unfortunately you have to get up early if you want to sit in the same area each day. Also, if someone comes down late morning and asks staff for a sun umbrella, they just take it from the nearest beds where people had reserved them. Then them people come back asking who took theirs. The staff just give them one from the nearest spot LOL! The entertainment is good but repetitive. The same music for the likes of the water gym etc. My little one loved the kids club. They have plenty on for the younger kids to be fair. The only available drinks at the evening shows is beers and soft drinks. You have to go to the main hotel to get other drinks to bring them in to the show which is a bit of a trek!! You will be approached multiple times during the day by people selling stuff. Even getting the towels in the morning they are trying to sell massage and Spa treatments haha!! There are reps from external restaurants and watersports activities. We did the Chinese restaurant in our 1st week for something different. It was €160 for 2 adults and 3 kids which is probably more expensive than at home. The kids only had chips and rice!! The watersports were enjoyable. Usually €25 per person for 15 mins. The beach section the Ramada have is disappointing. Horrible stoney beach and the bar only serves beer and soft drinks. We had some disappointed wives who only drink wine / spirits. Surely they could bring a few bottles down each day for the guests?? You should not pay more than 400 Lira or €8 for a taxi to the shops / restaurants down at the marina. Unfortunately as it’s a cruise ship stop off location there is a tourist tax on most bars / restaurants down there. We paid €20 for a beer, glass of wine and a sprite. There is a 10% additional fee for withdrawing cash at a lot of ATMs so bring cash I’d suggest. It is a VERY busy hotel with a lot of guests so biggest can be like a cattle market some mornings and evenings. All in all we really did enjoy our stay at the Ramada and would 100% recommend it to families. Oh and if you don’t like cats, it’s your worst nightmare!!
