Perfect week at the Remezzo

We stayed for a week at the Remezzo and cannot rate it highly enough - everything was perfect. Christina, Vassilys and the rest of the team were very friendly and welcoming and did everything possible to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. A special thank you to Christina for all the time she spent helping us with planning the trip and making recommendations etc prior to arrival and also whilst we we there - this was invaluable. We were in the pool suite which was amazing with its jaw dropping views and of course superb private views of the sunsets each night. We enjoyed the daily variety of the delicious freshly prepared breakfast each morning on the upper terrace. Before booking we considered staying at either Oia or Fira - we are so glad that in the end we chose Imerovigli - and for us the best place to stay has to be the Remezzo - as per other comments - if you book it you won't be disappointed ! We hope to return.

Paradise on Earth

Leaving the Remezzo was really really hard. What an incredible 4 nights we had at this amazing hotel, located right on the Caldera, the stunning, iconic cliff walk that is one of the spectacular hallmarks of Santorini. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like both family and royalty. Vassilus and Christina were impeccable hosts and their warmth, graciousness and charm overwhelmed us every day, in the best possible way. Both had such wonderful energy, were extremely helpful and caring and made us feel like nothing was too big an ask - the types of people we could talk to forever. Their recommendations were spot on perfection - we loved ALL the restaurants they suggested. I was just sad to miss Vassilus as we left on a Sunday, which was his day off. Honestly, as fantastic as this hotel itself is, it was the 2 of them that made it super DUPER special and notch above the rest. Breakfast was very good - 4 courses that were delectable and perfectly portioned. After all when in Santorini, you MUST have room for lunch. They were great about swapping items around if we had any special preferences, which my 18 year old did. Housekeeping was very diligent and so great about keeping the toiletries well stocked for us. We loved our cavelike suite - so comfortable and just beautiful. Honestly, we had zero complaints and we are picky travelers! Location was also fabulous - a short walk to Imerovigli town (definitely take their recommendations on where to go - the meals just kept topping each other, we were so impressed!) AND right on the Caldera, along the cliff path between Firi and Oia, both a nice walk away. Vassillus and Christina, we miss you both so much. If we are ever so lucky as to be able to visit Santorini again, you can bet you'll be seeing us again. Thank you for making this trip so special, so perfect, for taking care of us and treating us like welcome family. Loved every second of our time with you, at your otherworldly villas :)

An amazing week in Remezzo

I haven’t written hotel reviews in quite some time, but felt compelled to do so after staying here. Myself and my daughters have had an amazing week here. As soon as you walk into the hotel the views will take your breath away. It was even more beautiful than I expected. I felt like I had walked into a film set. The staff cannot do enough for you. We felt extremely looked after. It feels very homely. Christina, Vassilis & the lady at breakfast (I didn’t get her name) were so kind, friendly & helpful. We loved relaxing by the pool in the evening time & watching the sunset, which is just as beautiful as watching it from the famous spots in Oia! Our room was so comfortable, spacious and only a few steps from the pool. We could not have been happier! The location is great. There are lovely bars & restaurants right on your doorstep. It is also an easy & beautiful walk into the little town of Firostefani or a little further but very doable walk into Fira which is much busier & more touristy with lots of shops and restaurants. We were still very happy that we chose to stay here in remezzo suites in imerovigli where it is so peaceful & calm but within easy access if you wanted a more lively atmosphere. We spent a day in Oia which I feel is enough to get a feel for it and enjoy the views and the little streets. We also did a catamaran trip that Christina booked for us & we a really enjoyed swimming in crystal clear waters & seeing the caldera views from the water. All in all we have had an amazing time here. It is our last day here as I type this & we will be sad to leave. We will most definitely return to Remezzo and would highly recommend it! Fava, the hotel dog is of course an added bonus!! My girls loved playing with her & she only adds to that lovely homely feel of the hotel. Louise & girls

Beautiful View & Friendly Hosts

One of the best places my husband and I have ever visited. The owners are so friendly & helpful. If you have a question or need help with recommendations or bookings, they're on top of it! The breakfast is delicious, the rooms are spotless & aesthetic, and the view is beautiful. We wished we were able to stay longer. They also have a very cute dog, shout out to Fava.
