We were staying in the RIU Dubai for our wedding anniversary. Our stay starts with a very funny mishap. When we arrived in our room, we found a beautiful "Happy Birthday" card, even though that was our anniversary. Still funny story and no harm done :) The hotel is great, and we loved every minute there. Beginning from the hotel room (clean, well-equipped, and got everything you need) through to all restaurants, bars, and entertainment, the service we received was outstanding. Big shout-out to all employees who are doing everything possible to make your stay an excellent experience. Personal shout to Adriel, thank you for your fantastic and unforgettable service. We were staying for a week, and that wasn't enough for us. We will come back to RIU Dubai without any hesitation, being sure that we will be warmly welcomed with homely treatment.

RIU Dubai has completely ruined our holiday — overcrowded, chaotic, and nothing like other RIU hotels we’ve stayed at.

I never leave reviews, but this stay has been so bad I have to. We’ve stayed at other RIU hotels and loved them, but RIU Dubai is by far the worst. The hotel is massively overbooked — pools are unusable (kids’ and adults’ pool combined, even after a child had an accident in it). The “adults-only” pool is tiny and overcrowded. The food hall is chaos: rude people everywhere, impossible to find a table. Evenings are no better — limited seating, people dragging chairs inside (I was nearly hit by one), and the bars are a free-for-all with guests constantly pushing in front. We feel like we have to leave the hotel during the day and night just to enjoy our holiday. We’re still here until Thursday, but every day has been the same: overcrowded, stressful, and unpleasant. ⚠️ Warning: Do not book RIU Dubai in peak times unless you want your holiday ruined.

All the hotels staff were very helpful, friendly and the service was excellent. In the restaurant Regina and Oo were attentive and conscientious. In the Coral bar Manish, Sumina, Bikram, Kalpona and Sangeeth were always on hand providing excellent service.

Bullet points. The best food I've ever encountered in a hotel. Amazing staff. The Riu Dubai is a good base for actually leaving the hotel to explore attractions. Bad points. Evening entertainment spoiles this hotel, and this needs improvement. Compact design could be an issue when at capacity. You wouldn't actually know you were in Dubai unless you actually left the hotel. I wouldn't be comfortable paying more money (that the cheapest month) to come back again.
