Riu Dubai - All Inclusive

We visited Hotel Riu Dubai in May 2025.We arrived to the hotel quite late as our plane landed at 8pm only.The reception staff member checked us in very quickly and we went up into our room on the 2nd floor.The room was very spacious and overlooking the sea too.We had a minibar too which was refilled every other day but if you wanted something to be refilled right away,you could just order it on your app and they brought it for you.The hotel is very clean,all the staff ar always smiling,very friendly and very helpful.The first two days the pool was quite warm but after they amended the temperature and it was much cooler so it was much better.The dining room was huge and lots of options for everyone.The waitresses recognized us after a day and they knew what kind of drink we want.I would like to mention Yoon,Lilly ,Pem ,Rose by the door and many more.They were all very good and very helpful.My only problem was as I 'm vegan,they did not have sweets for me most of the days but first time I asked if they have anything and the chef brought out a red velvet cake slice for me.Other day I asked again and they brought me a strawberry cake and they told me I can have sorbet too.I don't understand why they don't put outside these if they have it inside the kitchen?I'm sure I wasn't the only one vegan there.It would be nice to have some vegan butter for breakfast,maybe some avocado and porridge made of soy milk.We booked the Moon restaurant for one evening and the food and the servers were excellent.The other night we booked the Spices Asian restaurant and everything was excellent there too.The chef even made some vegan sushi for me. The beach is very nice,and the sea was very warm. We didn't watch any of the entertainment as it was too late for us but I'm sure it was very good. Generally we loved the hotel and we decided to come back again next April with my daughter and son-in-law too(they are both vegan,so hopefully we will have more options by then). I highly recommend this hotel.It's only about 20 mins from the airport and everyone is so nice and everything is very clean. Thank you for having us

Unfortunately we did not have a good stay at the Riu. When we arrived we were not sure where to park. There was no parking attendant outside to help us with bags or direct us to the proper parking area. We were also disappointed that all the restaurants were not open on a Saturday. This is an all inclusive property so all the food places should be open especially on a Saturday evening. When we went to our room the halls were soaked with water. This was not a routine floor mopping. This was puddles of water that I had to roll my pants up and step through just to get to our rooms. My shoes were then destroyed due to this. They got so wet that they separated. I will be sharing pictures in my review when I post it online. If you look at the picture I shared, the man in the background has on water boots. That is because the water was high enough to require those type of shoes so I am curious why the hotel would think it is ok for guest to walk through this water with their vacation shoes on. The pools and beaches closed as soon as the sun was going down which is also disappointing because during the day it is too hot to relax on the beach. As soon as it was cool enough then the beach and pool was closed. We had a horrible view out of our room. We had to look at construction the whole time. You all should not put guest facing a horrible view especially if you have other rooms available. The whole weekend, there was no music, and no adult only spaces. It was not a good experience. I will not be coming back and I would not recommend this property to anyone.

This five-star hotel is highly recommended. It's an all-inclusive resort with excellent service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The food is amazing, with a variety of delicious dishes served daily. The other three restaurants are equally impressive. The pools and beach are beautiful, and the bar offers a wide selection of great drinks. The entertainment at the pool and the auditorium is fantastic, with Joshua and the entire staff providing an amazing team effort. It's a great place for families. Hakuna Matata.

We really liked the rest at the Riu hotel, the food is very varied and tasty, the rooms are cleaned daily, the alcohol is good, special thanks to Suresh for the delicious cocktails. The beach is big, there are a lot of sunbeds, there are enough for everyone, there are boats and catamarans, there is a children's water park

Big hotel but very good. Plenty of Space/umbrellason beach. Restaurants good serving buffet food. Quite busy in the main dining room but we’ll set out. Good to book smaller restaurants in the evening, much quieter. Good choice of food.
