The hotel is located on a hill and is far from the main tourist areas so will need transportation to get there. The room was amazing with beautiful views from the balcony in the bathroom overlooking sunrise and breathtaking views from the front balcony overlooking the sunset. On arrival Giorgos came to the car and assisted with taking our luggage up the little hill to the reception. He explained that reception is only open till 6 pm but offered communication through WhatsApp which was great. Upon check in,we saw that our plunge pool was very dirty. We asked it to be cleaned and were advised that it was recently cleaned and stuff get to it due to wind. We settled in and were going to use the pool and then noticed tiny little fish swimming in it. Told the reception and they cleaned it while we were out. They left a complimentary bottle of wine for us as an apology which was really appreciated. Later we noticed our cards were not working to open the door. Communicated this via WhatsApp and they sent someone right away to open our door. They provided their number for us to call upon coming back late at night so they could open our door with the master key as they could not reset the key. We came back around 1 am and called the individual and he informed us that he had left a key for us in the front patio. Breakfast is done via preorder. We chose what we wanted and sent it to reception via WhatsApp and was delivered on the dot and amazing. Giorgos was amazing. Highly recommend.

The hotel manager was very hospitable and accommodating - making arrangements for our airport transfers, transfers to town, arranged for a private tour of the island when our plans changed due to windy conditions. Excellent team, highly recommended!

What a wonderful location - wonderfully calm with fantastic views and amazing staff who genuinely care. This would’ve been a five but we visited out of season and that meant that the hotel facilities were not yet open. This is typical for Santorini at this time of year and, to Rocabella’s credit, we were in no way disturbed by any preparations they were making for the full opening of the hotel. The manager George was absolutely outstanding - no request too much trouble and perfect advice freely shared.

Excellent place to stay in Santorini

Wonderful place with great scenic views! Staff were so excellent and the hotel room was reasonable for what you get. Felt no earthquakes for 4 days visit and taxis were readily available to explore the island with little wait. Breakfast was delicious and brought to your room every morning upon request with fresh fruits and delicious food. Markets close by will also deliver drinks, snacks, and groceries to you. We had a very good experience here!

The Rocabella Santorini Hotel was a wonderful place to stay. We travelled off peak. It was quiet, beautiful and serene. The main restaurant was being renovated so room service or order-in was encouraged. This worked out perfectly to try local venues. The Rocabella team were professional, warm and welcoming. The room was more like an apartment. Very clean, warm and roomy. The sunsets on the Agean sea are like none other. Our room / balcony faced the water. Relatively close to Oia to see the I highly recommend going to Rocabella if you are thinking of a holiday in Santorini.
