A great stay

We have spent four days at Rocabella and truly had a great time. The location is fantastic, the view over the caldera is breathtaking, and the hotel itself is very beautiful. Our room was comfortable, and most of the staff were friendly. What’s missing here is the extra care and attention to detail to make it a really great experience A few concrete examples: – Umbrellas by the pool: we asked both at reception and at the restaurant, but it didn’t seem to be a concern, and no solution was offered. – No Chromecast or similar in the room: a small modern touch like this would add comfort and flexibility. – Plastic box with clean towels and linens left outside the room in the morning before housekeeping. – No small snacks with drinks: ordering wine by the pool and not getting even a few olives or nuts. – No daily water bottles in the room: water only provided on arrival, which isn’t enough given the heat. – Spa experience felt rushed: no welcome drink, no explanation of the products used, no follow-up conversation after the massage – these details could really elevate the experience. – Underused spaces: the two secondary pools are very small and not well arranged, and there’s a lot of empty space that could be turned into cozy shaded areas or lounges. – No included airport transfers: at this price point, it would really add value and comfort. With more attention to detail and a few thoughtful upgrades, the hotel could truly become an exceptional luxury destinatiob

The suite that we booked was perfect for us. All the staff at front desk, at breakfast and at the restaurant were very nice, helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was very good. Christiana at the front desk gave us excellent recommandations for restaurants and excursions outside the hotel.

My sister and I stayed at the Rocabella for 4 nights in July of 2025. Our accommodations were outstanding. We had a two bedroom suite with a large sitting area with easy access to the main pool. The resort staff were extremely personable and hospitable, with suggestions for activities nearby. We loved the amenities of our room, as well as the extensive and delicious Greek breakfast. The views of the calderas are breathtaking. An added plus is the ability to walk into Imperovigili from the hotel. The hotel is also in a great location for taxi drives to both Fira and Oia. We truly had a magical experience and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Santorini.
