Our stay at the Rosewood far exceeded our expectations. From our incredible butler, Nan, to the attentive buggy staff and meticulous housekeeping team, every detail made our visit unforgettable. We traveled for spring break with our kids and to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and the staff helped us mark the occasion in the most thoughtful ways. On our first day, we were welcomed with a beautiful dessert, and that evening, we returned to find rose petals adorning our bed and a warm bubble bath waiting for us. Nan’s attention to detail was truly exceptional—after a day of exploring the elephant sanctuary, she surprised us with refreshing coconut water and soothing aloe mist. Every moment, we felt genuinely cared for. The food was outstanding, though the drinks could be improved. That said, the level of service at the Rosewood was among the best we’ve experienced worldwide. We cannot wait to return for a longer stay. For travelers with older children or those seeking a quieter, adults-only atmosphere, it’s worth noting that the resort caters to families, so there are plenty of young children around. While this didn’t affect our trip, it’s something to consider. The rooms were stunning, with every amenity thoughtfully provided, including mosquito spray and sunscreen. The spa was lovely, though we were surprised that a resort of this caliber didn’t have dedicated sauna and steam facilities for guests to use—one of the only areas for potential improvement. Above all, Nan made our stay truly exceptional. Her constant check-ins, attention to every detail, and warmth made us feel like we were her only guests—an incredible feat! Our time at the Rosewood was unforgettable, and we can’t wait to return.
