Highly recommend this hotel it’s absolutely fantastic, Royal Asarlik has the perfect location, close to the centre of Gumbet and has its own private beach, The hotel is spotlessly clean throughout, and the views from the hotel are beautiful The staff are absolutely so friendly and welcoming and really go out their way to make you feel happy Special thanks to chef Hasan the manager of the restaurants and to Sedat our waiter and the rest of the team in the main restaurant, they made my sons birthday really special, Hasan even got a birthday cake and made a celebration for my son in the main restaurant. Food is lovely and plenty of choice Thankyou to Ozzy the massage rep- we had a lovely massage and Turkish hamam Thankyou to Tony the boat trip man- My son had a fantastic time We will be returning to Royal Asarlik again for sure! Do not be put off by the bad reviews as you will see for yourself Tessekkurler Royal Asarlik & see you soon 😃

We stayed in a relaxed room. Good points...nice and quiet with a good view. Not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Beds very comfortable, air con worked really well, staff on the beach worked really hard to keep the area clean, local to shops. Boat trip booked through guy on the beach, was a great relaxing day. Breakfast was fine, with a variety. Ice cream from the patisserie, pot luck if the waffles were hot or cold. Bad points, food was exactly the same every lunchtime and evening and was nearly always cold, when it ran out, hard luck. Staff were either on their phones or too busy chatting, we ate at the snack bars most days, burgers were pre cooked and then reheated on the grill and burnt, and served with cold chips. Room was filthy, dirt under the bed, don't think it had been cleaned since last season. Shower was blocked, maintenance came out and took the filter out, it was disgusting. Safe didn't work, they ended up replacing it. We had to 'fix' the kettle to make it work. The reception area by the bar was dirty, metal leg tables, don't think they had been cleaned since they were purchased!!
