Well, where do I start with this? Firstly the good bits I suppose; Good points:…… Leaving to go home. Private transfer to/from the airport were great. APH parking through the RAC was great. Mother in law looking after the cat was great. The bad points:…… Hotel rooms are a dump and falling apart we paid for premium rooms they're far from it. Toilet wonky on the wall, wallpaper peeling of the walls and stank of damp. Beds may as well have been made from poured concrete. Old razor was left in the shower when we got there so was missed when cleaning. Food is always… and I do mean always cold. Staff are rude. My wife waited 45 minutes for pizza as others were dumping turkish Lire into the pizza makers hand to jump the que and they only make 6-8 pizzas at a time, and when the que is 10 deep you have to wait longer. Kids Club is all extra money unless, it's colouring that's free. DO NOT PUT MONEY IN THE TIP BOX IN THE ANGELS BAR THEY DO NOT GET IT. The girls behind the bar told me they don't get it and it's locked at the bottom so their tip I left they have no access to. We saw a family in the main pool grab their little girl hold her over the overflow water recirculation grates and had her urinate onto it in front of everyone including the life guard, who did nothing. No entertainment what so ever on a Sunday, but they have a mix CD playing over and over that's badly mixed……you'll love it. People phoning room to room drunk at night so we unplugged the phone it's a joke. Drunk Russians banging on the door so drunk they couldn't remember which room they were staying in so tried to force their way into ours. Everything and I do mean everything is tip tip tip tip tip tip TIP. Of your kids aren't paying at the same rate as the Russians or Germans they won't get decent service or no service at all. Kids Club lady as soon as she found out we were British she wouldn't talk to us again and walked off. Toilets by main swimming pools absolutely stink they're a mess and no toilet paper. All the Russians will jump the que to be served drinks at the pool bar, again they pay for that. The ONLY time someone was nice was on the jeep safari we went on and I tipped the guy 1000TL just because he didn't ask me the only one on the whole trip. Be careful of the submerged rocks in the sea you will hurt yourself, I'm a diver so know how to get in and out of the sea, there's no signs to say they're there you just walk into them and they only a meter or 2 off the shore so be careful. Don't go to the shop directly opposite main reception he's a rip off tried to charge me £18 for 8 cans of soda after the hotel forgot to restock our fridge. If you have Crocs hide them, people actively go round and swap fakes for real ones. The wife and boy nearly had theirs taken twice. Regardless of what the hotel management come back and say, this is our experience of the hotel over the course of our 10 day stay. They will of course try to contradict what I've written but it's all true. I spoke with guest relations about this stuff a few times it was only written down once and only in a notebook not anything official. The cleaner also tried to make us leave at 1100 on day of departure, but we had paid the day before €50 to have late checkout until 1530. This wasn't replied to her and was insisting we leave right now and was pretty rude about it and statements making phone calls. I gave her to receipt I had from the reception and she backed off. Look it is what it is but when I've spent the best part of £4,000 to come here for 10 days i expect better than this. Not 2 months ago me and the wife were in Cape Verde and it was absolutely amazing there staff, place, people everything was amazing, but here it's a different story…… and very different story. We got here Tuesday 12th August 2025 and by Thursday 14th I wanted to go home. Avoid like the plague and if you booked premium rooms I'm sorry in advance. This is a solid 2 star hotel at best, I've stayed all over the world in so many hotels and this is down there with the worst of them……… such a shame really.
