I’m currently staying at this hotel and with in 3 hours of me being here Iv already had to move rooms because of the smell of sewage which then I was told there was not any more rooms available which turn out to be a lie so they moved me which again same smell of sewage and cigarettes! I’m here staying with my partner and my two children aged 5 and 2. Both rooms got rips and tears in sofa dust you can right your name in on the glass selves pubic hair around the toilet damp patch on celling wallpaper coming off walls cigarette burn on floor dirty stains on sofa a cupboard left unlocked which has the plumbing and electrical for the shower, out of date soft drinks in mini fridge, no bed for my 2 year old and had to wait 40 minutes to arrive ( and this is now 22.30 at night 22.40 man turns up because tv not working in the room!!! This is just day one (3 hours of my stay). Soft drinks in main restaurant is like drinking water partner had a glass of champagne again no fizzy what so ever even I ask waitresses to change then and told her the issue came back exactly the same!

The hotel itself was very clean and grand. Plenty of choices for food in main restaurant and pool area snack bar. Many bars dotted around the hotel and they even had a restaurant open from midnight till 7am. This was a great convenience when we were checking out at 5am in the morning. Food galore, drinks aplenty and the showers are amazing!! The cleaning staff were not as friendly as other hotels I've stayed in but did come daily to clean the rooms (remember to keep your switch on). Beach is a close walk and there is a shuttle every 2 mins so no need to worry. Beautiful beach with sand and pebbles so not completely sand. This hotel is sadly not directly on the beach and the view is a partial side view due to where the position of the hotel is facing. Lots to keep children and adults busy. An arcade, waterslides and a fun fair all on site. Evening entertainment each night in an ampitheatre which was nice to sit in and watch the shows. Massive shout out to Safak at guest relations who was super friendly, helpful and made lots of effort with us in giving advice about travel options and in general was a great person. Great conversationalist too and very knowledgeable! I don't usually wrote reviews but his customer service prompted me to. Thank you Safak!

I have just arrived back in the UK after a 10 night stay at this hotel. For reference I have been to Turkey 4 times before. Without doubt this hotel is stunning and the facilities are all intact for the hotel to succeed but small issues let the hotel down. 1. Staff - The hotel is majorly understaffed in every major area. My room most days wasn't cleaned to the expected standard. Bed sheets not changed regularly and towels not refreshed and some days we arrived back at the room after 4pm with the cleaner not arriving at our room until nearly 5pm, clearly understaffed. Some bar staff are rude and slow creating huge queues. A lot of the staff are so blatantly looking for tips and its quite annoying and it can be quite awkward as the service you receive goes down and waits get longer once no tip is given. Around by the pools drinks are being left by the outside of the pools, straws paper cups, plastic bottle, plastic cups, for hours with no one cleaning them up until the one guy who goes round doing the whole premises cleans them up! This then results in wasps being everywhere, chilling on my lounger and one stings me foot 😂 2. Food - repetitive... same thing 99% of the time and queues are huge. Food is self serve meaning hundreds of people are touching food grabbers, hot plates, plates, lids and this cannot be healthy or clean. The queue for 1 scoop of ice cream one night was genuinely as long as the restaurant. To be honest I didn't like the majority of food on an evening and eventually resulted in eating outside the hotel as I was genuinely starving. When looking for a table the tables are cleaned sufficiently they are literally wiped over with a paper towel, no disinfectant no sanitiser nothing 3. Drinks - Paper cups..... terrible idea and small causing huge queues in 40 degree heat, again this isn't good or healthy. Coke often tasted really poor and if you asked for more than one coke they would give you one diet coke... Drinks are rammed full of ice and one mouthful and you need another drink and causing excessive waste with paper cups stacked high everywhere. No self serve which is unheard of for me in a five star hotel and its causing massive queues. Alcohol drinks i.e Efes majority of the time tasted bad and flat and just not good enough. My partner tried the cocktails again hit and miss. I tried one whisky and coke and that was enough never again 4. Water slides - be warned if you have booked this hotel for the water park and your child is under 7 years of age and under 120cm they cannot use the water slides they can only use the kids baby water park. Very disappointed in this as this was one of the major reasons we booked this hotel. I argued the toss and manager stated no multiple times. No one manages the use of the rubber rings provided so children are waiting for a turn on some of the slides and adults and children are hogging the rings until they get bored, get more rings or police the rings and stop this as it isn't fair. The non slip mats leading up to the stairs are genuinely like walking on nails they killed my feet they need to be changed 5. Prices - the hotel grocery shop doesn't display any prices, the prices change daily and they are extortionate and are blatantly ripping people off. A sure for men roll on... 10 euros please, they are literally £1 in the UK. Can of coke 4 euros, next day 4.50. Madness. My advice go to the small supermarket opposite the front of the hotel. We enquired about hiring a bed/lounger on the beach pier through the advertised WhatsApp number.... 120 euros!!!!!!!! 6. Wi-Fi - Terrible.... constantly drops out. Have to reconnect every single day and for a five star hotel it isn't anywhere near acceptable 7. Information - Nothing is sign posted properly, its a big hotel and finding stuff can be difficult, it really lets the hotel down. Finding out on the last day there are toilets at the entertainment area is disappointing after walking across bridges every night wasting time Overall we have had a brilliant stay and a great holiday, the hotel is beautiful it really is but the above needs ironing out for me to pay the sums of money out and return. The above when listed as I have done looks bad but that isn't my intention, my intention is for it to be noted and tackled because it would be a top top hotel if so. We did visit in the UK 6 weeks holiday and there are kids absolutely everywhere so maybe things would be better in a less busy period I'm not sure Lara is a really nice friendly and safe place and I would recommend to anyone looking to visit

The hotel grounds, pools, water park are great but food a let down and i would rate this part as average. Food: The buffet has a huge selection but after a few days it got boring, repetitive and food is very bland. Each night they had a special but again hit and missjj.. lunch was the same. The food by the pool area made a change, but again its chips, pizza and jacket potatoes. The hotel has no awareness of dietary requirements, being a vegetarian there was hardly any options, labels in correct and people using spoons for meat snd veg. The hotel needs to have a separate section for vegetarian food. Hotel: pool and waterpark was great, sunbeds is an issue and I had to go down at 8am to reserve beds otherwise I could not get beds for the family. Grounds nice, bars good and beach/pier was nice. Room: spacious room, it was cleaned everyday but sheets not changed regularly and cleaner more interested in getting a tip. Staff: welcome was not great, more interested in getting us to upgrade and when I said no I was given a quick welcome and no info on anything. It was late so I went back in the morning to find out more and the person was more helpful. Guys serving drinks around the pool were great. Overall we had a good time, we just found food repetitive.

Was the worst Turkey holiday ever and i was many times in Antalya, at many hotels. The cleanliness was disappointing. Housekeeping was done very superficially — no vacuuming or mopping, just a change of bed linen. The internet connection was extremely poor and did not work at all during our stay, neither in the rooms, at reception, nor by the pool. Lunchtime snacks can only be eaten inside the restaurant; you cannot take them to the sunbeds. This meant having to take the children out of the water and go to the outdoor restaurant to eat, which was inconvenient. At other hotels, service is usually faster and more flexible. In the main restaurant, the staff seemed overwhelmed — tables were left uncleared, and drinks took a long time to arrive. The food quality was low, repetitive, and lacked variety, with the same dishes placed in multiple locations to create the impression of abundance. I also developed a skin rash during the stay, possibly from something I ate. The toys in the “amusement park” were old and made loud creaking noises. The hallways were very noisy, and the rooms were not soundproofed, so every sound could be heard. Unfortunately, I would not return. In my opinion, this does not meet the standards of a 5-star hotel.
