S18 Villas

The worst “villa” I’ve ever experienced. We walked in and straight back out. Visible urine on the toilet that had been built up for some time, dirt everywhere, toothpicks on the ground. I could have forgiven this and cleaned it myself, until i saw the black mould all throughout the room & pool. The private pool we paid for was broken in multiple places, mouldy, pool lights & live wires hanging out of pool in water & the fountain didn’t work. For full transparency they offered us a new room, for obvious reasons we declined. When I asked for a refund the manager (male, Radi) called me a whale amongst other things (yes I’m heavier) & proceeded to laugh with colleagues. They were speaking awful things in Indonesian and didn’t realise I had google translate up the whole time- Very embarrassing for the property owner. Lucky I have thick skin! Haha. SO I called Agoda for a refund from them, they immediately refunded me when I showed them the pictures of the mould and pool. I am not a fussy woman, but this was beyond “letting it go”. Agoda is investigating removing this property. Please don’t be fooled by the photos from 10 years ago like I was.

We had a good comfortable stay at s18 bali villas in kuta. We were served very good breakfast. Rooms were pretty clean so was the swimming pool. Everything was perfect. Highly recommended for groups and couples looking to have a great stay in bali.

It looked great in the photos but for a 5 star hotel it's tired and needs more maintenance. Our door broken on arrival, jepordising our sercurity and they werent worried about that. We requested a room change which took around 1 hour. The staff were friendly but their comprehension was only fair. All the linen was old,faded,thin and a grey colour. The mosquito's were bad even though they come into the villa at 5pm every day to spray. Also be aware of the hefty deposit you need to pay on check in. But private pool is a good concept.
