We were incredibly disappointed with this hotel, as it did not match the expectations set by its photos and marketing. The promotional images are highly misleading, and in our opinion, should either be taken down or the hotel should face consequences for misrepresentation. Firstly, the beach is not as advertised—it is rocky, public, and has no dedicated hotel sunbeds. Around the pool, the loungers are cheap plastic, far from the luxury experience one would expect from a so-called 5-star resort. There is no hotel lobby, and the entire property, including the rooms and grounds, is in desperate need of renovation. Some areas even felt unsafe due to their poor condition. The dining options are also misrepresented. Despite claims of multiple restaurants, there is only one, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner (the menu is varied eg Thai, English and Pizza) but it is ONE restaurant. The bar selection is also limited to just one. The spa experience was equally disappointing—it lacked any sense of Thai tranquility and relaxation, instead consisting of a basic room accessed via concrete stairs. We booked through Best At Travel, who only offered a £100 voucher as compensation after we spent an absolute fortune on the holiday!. After escalating the issue, the hotel agreed to refund £150, which says a lot about their awareness of the situation. Additionally, we noticed that pricing for the New Year’s Eve event was inconsistent, with guests being charged different amounts. Fortunately, we managed to secure a discount at checkout. This is not a true 5-star experience, and we are genuinely surprised by the high ratings this hotel receives. Compared to luxury 5-star resorts in Koh Samui, this falls far short. We strongly believe this should be investigated. Would we return? Absolutely not.
