What a fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel. We have just returned from a week celebrating our anniversary at the San Antonio and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. All the staff are helpful and courteous, always smiling and chatty. They will help book water taxis (to Corfu Town for example) and restaurants, amongst other things. The food was very good, from breakfast with something for everyone, to lunch and dinner if you wish to eat at the hotel. We stayed B&B but did eat an 3 course evening meal at the hotel which was excellent. The room we had (411) was fantastic. Had everything we needed, lovely walk in shower, comfortable bed and pillows, tea and coffee facilties, fridge, two bottles of water each day. Lovely balcony with daybed, table and chairs and the most stunning view of the bay. Also handily placed for the top pool. Be aware that the resort is built up a "hillside" with reception, the restaurant and "bottom" pool at the bottom. You will probably be dropped off at the top gate on arrival, but simply press the intercom button and someone will be with you very shortly in a car or golf buggy to whisk you down to reception. There are a couple of lifts to get up the levels, but there's still a reasonable amount of walking, or you can wait for the buggy to take you upto the first lift if required. We used both pools, they are quite different. Top pool has numerous loungers, daybeds, bar with waiter services and incredible views. Bottom pool has built in daybeds, was quieter in terms of people using it, but did have music. The resort of Kalami is a beautiful, small, relaxed place. A handful of lovely places to eat, couple of supermarkets, couple of gift shop and not much more. We ate at Callao (opposite the hotel) which was very good. Kalami taverna also very good. Thomas' Place was another excellent meal. Also Dimitris with taxi service from the lovely George provided for free, was another fantastic evening meal. Takeout from the Meatspot was also extremely good. Basically, there are enough restaurants to satisfy for a week, after this there are some great restaurants in neighbouring bays, such as Agni, Kouloura and Kerasia which are worth exploring. Its worth booking in advance as they do get busy. Anyway, back to the hotel, well done to the team at the San Antonio, hope to return in the not too distant future.
