We went to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary, this is a trip we have been looking forward to for about 4 years... it had a lot of hype to live up to, and somehow it still overdelivered ! We have travelled to many resorts over the years and without a doubt this trip was the best resort experience we've had, and for us it really isn't close! Resort Staff- 12/10 - The Grenadian people are truly on another level! The welcome and goodbye song are the cherry on top. The entire diving crew was fantastic! So helpful and fun, they do take your safety serious and give a very detailed breakdown before each dive which is great for those who may be feeling uneasy. We LOVED Tyrone, an absolute gem of a human, we really will miss him. He consistently went above and beyond and my wife and I cant thank him enough for all he did for us. Also a shoutout to Arieon, a photographer, although we said we were only taking the one free picture, wanted us to have the best possible one and really took pride in his work and we got a great picture and he was really impressive. Food - 10/10 We enjoyed every meal. Kiminos and Butch's (the two you have to reserve) we would rank the highest, but each restaurant or buffet was fantastic! Loved cafe de Paris, the coffees here were really nice and the crepes were so yummy! A tip for early morning coffee, I get up before 6am and would always go to the main pavilion and they have a coffee machine there where you can get whichever type you want there at all hours. The pizzas were really good, eating near the water at Neptune's doesn't get old either... really no complaints for the food! Drinks - 10/10 - We both don't drink much, but the ones we had were well made and very enjoyable. Having staff come by the beach and pools throughout the day taking drink orders was great as well! Only negative was when someone claimed by chocolate martini as their own... who does that ?!! Cleanliness - 10/10 - Nothing to note, resort is extremely well maintained and cared for. Resort Activities - 10/10 - Can only comment on what we did.. A LOT of snorkeling, this resort by far has the best snorkeling we have ever done off a beach. It was like swimming in an aquarium! Saw so many types of fish!! The gym; nice location, very clean but could possibly have another treadmill is all I can say to improve, because of this we did a few runs off resort and although it was hilly, it was really neat to run off resort. I learned to operate a sail boat as well and had a lot of fun, highly recommend giving it a go! Pools - 10/10 - Nice to have a "loud" and "quiet" pool. We never actually made it into the loud on but did enjoy the quiet one and also the large pool near our room (JS) they were always clean and a great temperature. Another bonus is the two hot tubs they have which were surprisingly nice to go in. Room- 10/10 - Our room was a JS. It was really nice a quiet location. Very clean, recently updated and had a great sized balcony. We went into the town of St. George's and it was neat to see, especially on market day. Again it was very hilly but it didn't bother us. To conclude, if you are considering Sandals Grenada, stop thinking about it and book it! I can only hope we will again be blessed with the opportunity to return to this slice of paradise. Cannot recommend any higher! Well done Sandals, well done Grenada!
