Official Description

This club resort lies directly on the famous Seven Mile Beach, the longest beach in Negril on Jamaica's west coast. Negril city centre lies only around a 10-minute drive away. The renowned Rick's Café is only 14 km from the hotel. Sights such as Mayfield Falls and the Black River are only 64 km and a 60-minute drive away respectively. Montego Bay airport is around a 90-minute drive away. This hotel is both luxurious yet laid-back and cool. It comprises 223 rooms and is a true beach resort with many activities providing guests with fun-packed days. There are 4 restaurants and 6 different types of room. Amongst the facilities count a foyer with 24-hour reception desk, as well as a currency exchange desk. In addition to a shop and a hairdresser, guests are invited to take advantage of 5 bars, conference facilities and public Internet access. Furthermore, a laundry service and car parking is also available. Horrible stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE! This was a terrible trip from start to finish. After spending a lot of time on the phone with a travel agent to ensure we had a first floor room, we were not put in a first-floor room as I had specified I needed for my elderly mom with arthritis who has already had one hip replacement. The folks at the hotel did not seem to care. They gave us a whole $200 in credit, which was barely enough to cover a pedicure at their overpriced spa. The place had little to no class. The food at the three restaurants we tried was overdone and/or flavorless. The little beach bar had good beef & veggie patties, but that was the best thing we had. There was construction outside our window and the a/c unit leaked in the room. And, to top it off, 10 of us got what my urgent care doc thinks was E-coli because we all had terrible stomach cramping, fever and nausea for DAYS after we returned home. I would never return to a Sandals, definitely not this one. I have traveled all over the Caribbean and been to Jamaica four times. This was easily one of the worst "vacations" I have ever had.

The room that they show on their website is not the room that we got. Our room overlooked a bush with flowers on it and a highway. Across the street from the highway was a warehouse and a field that people where in every day. we ask for a room change they could not accommodate us, which I do understand but their website is not true to what a garden view is in their picture.The staff was very friendly all were very nice. The food was all very spicy or very garlic. I will not be returning to this sandals again. We also asked 4 times to fix the toilet which never happened.

The hotel is amazing the bartender is amazing shout out to Fiona she is amazing..The entertainment team is amazing shout to king James ,Lady Briana ,Ruth ,princess,lushon ,odane and skye , ajago and Izzy they are amazing. King James is the main reason why I came here ..we love him with all our heart ..he is the greatest..we only come back next year because king James say so .

Celebrating our anniversary where we got married 10 years ago was the best decision we ever made. Sandals Negril has some of the most exceptional staff. They make you feel like family especially the entertainment team. The singers and dancers here are amazing!! Ruth has a personality like no other. She’s always chatting with us and involving us in everything. The bartenders here are really friendly as well. Fiona, Tyrese, Trevolyn, Brendon and Sasha are some of the ones who really stood out. We will definitely be back. 10/10 experience
