Wow! The views from this property are spectacular! It is up a VERY steep hill so walking anywhere was not an option for us. They do have a ride option to and from the closest beaches/markets for a small fee, although we were only there a night and stayed put to enjoy our room's private pool and the views. We ordered room service for lunch and dinner, and both were great. There was plenty of space in our clean 2 bedroom villa--2 bathrooms, a kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave, a living room and 2 spacious bedrooms, along with our own private pool. We wish that we could have stayed longer. What a beautiful property!

The villas at Sandalwood were great! With authentic Thai style decor, clean and spacious rooms, kitchen, private patio, private pool and amazing ocean views, this villa did not disappoint. There is also a main infinity pool on the property that is open to all guests. The property is on top of a hill, so be prepared to hike daily if you stay in one of the villas on the lower level. I stayed in the Camellia room which was large with 2 beds, 2 bathrooms, kitchen and had an expansive ocean view from the private patio. The property is peaceful and well maintained. STAFF: Pon was amazing!!!! Truly a kind heart! Richard, Pon and all staff members were beyond friendly, gracious, and went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Pon helped us with sightseeing, entertainment and dining options, as well as how to navigate around the island. The villa provides shuttle service to nearby locations. The Blue Ginger restaurant on the property served delicious and authentic Thai cuisine. Pricing for all meals was very reasonable. Truly a great stay in Ko Samui!

Luxury villas, many with own pools, or jacuzzis, stunning views across the bay,. Large rooms, with great amenities, and cheaply priced mini bar. Excellent restaurant, "The Blue Ginger" on site, with more beautiful views across the bay.Staff very freindly, helpful and professional, hotel transport up and down hill on request, longer journeys charged, but cheaper than taxi.A totally relaxing stay, would love to stay again.
