The resort is set amongst 3.5 hectares of tropical gardens in the village of Batuan, which is a 25-minute drive from Ubud, Bali's hub of culture and history. Fantastic stay

We have just left the loveliest hotel. The staff were so friendly and made sure we had a great stay. My partner is fish and gluten intolerant, but this was not an issue. The scenery is very pretty with our apartment being over the water. I had a Balinese cookery lesson with Matih and Ayu and other staff were popping in to check all was well! The rooms are good with outdoor bathroom. Strange at first, but a true experience. We have moved to a different hotel in Bali now but it does not compare! Well done to all.

Went here on NYE and totally in love with the vibes. Located on Ubud country side, great accommodation for short escape from the city. There’s so much things to explore, literally. Jungle, river, natural pool, justtt great.

A stay worth remembering at Santi Mandala

Excellent support by the staff, special call out to Ms Putri for her courteous and service oriented approach, Ms Susi from the restaurant for accommodating our special vegetarian food requests and chef Dika from the kitchen for giving us "home made" type meals. Truly, hospitality at its best, speaks volumes of the service culture at Santi Mandala.. left us with great memories

A great place to relax!

We had a wonderful stay at Santi Mandala. Our villa was very clean, spacious & private with its own pool to cool off in after a warm day touring. The staff here are exceptional. Everyone we met was welcoming, friendly & accomodating- they are all a true asset to Santi Mandala. The onsite restaurant served lovely, well presented meals. Thanks for having us!

We enjoyed a wonderful few days of awesome Balinese hospitality at the superb Santi Mandala Villa Resorts. The staff are always smiling, helpful and very accessible. Ayu, who met us on the very first day ensured that everything with our stay was streamlined and comfortable. The breakfast includes a hot vegetarian / vegan / non vegetarian meal along with the usual selection of breads/jams and local fruits. The rooms are very well laid out architecturally and aesthetically - BUT both the rooms and the access around the beautiful resort are a little difficult (especially for physically challenged). There are pathways (to reach your room) that are in different levels, and the entry to the room has steps that are a challenge. It would really help if there were handholds provided near the entry (to room) as well as in the bath. The open-to-sky bath area is an experience. While there is a buggy service, it does not reach right to the room or spa (which in my mind then takes away from the usage of some of the awesome facilities). There was an in-house spa that we thought we'd try out - but sadly due to accessibility issues I couldn't use that facility. The cute pool is inviting and just perfect after a long day of sight-seeing. There is a brilliant and very talented wood-carver in-house who displays his craft in the restaurant area... should totally check this out. All the staff are very warm, loving and welcoming - and it makes this is a resort that I totally recommend and will visit again
