Santo Miramare Resort

This was our second stay at Santo Miramare and we were a bit nervous that having enjoyed it so much the first time, it might not live up to our previous experience. We’ve never gone back to a place before. Happy to say, it didn’t disappoint and from the moment walked through the door and Edmond showed us to our room, we had a brilliant stay! All areas are kept spotlessly clean and the whole team are friendly and efficient. The manager quietly watches over his team ensuring high standards. We had a ground floor suite with patio area outside with two chairs, a deck chair and a table. Inside there’s a sitting area with a kitchen sink, kettle, fridge and hotplate stored under (we didn’t expect this and didn’t use it). A step up to the sleeping area with large double bed, wardrobes, dressing table, tv and safe. Through to the gorgeous shower room which had a fantastic deluge shower. We had fresh towels every day and beach towels every other day. We did half board this time and there was always a good selection of food at the buffet. There are plenty of restaurants along the beach too. The area is not noisy or busy, so if you want that sort of experience head for Thira or Oia. You can hire a car by asking at reception, we hired for the day and paid (June 2025) €45 plus an extra €15 for fully comprehensive insurance. I’m sure it’s cheaper if you hire for longer periods. There are also local buses and taxis close by. The little supermarket around the corner stocks all basics that you might need.

went for 2 weeks r and r with my wife was the best four star hotel that i stayed in starting from the staff at the reception to the restaurant especally terresa the staff as a hearty well done everything was spot on cleanleniss from the cleaners amazing it was was the best birthday and wedding anniversary for my wife and will be back who cares about pool temps would have like to see a bit off entertainment but cant have everything

Our last day at this wonderful resort . Hotel is spotlessly clean with cleaners out either sweeping, dusting ,pressure washing. Breakfast is all you could possibly want. Thoroughly recommend, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the lack of any evening entertainment anywhere in the hotel or the many surrounding restaurants (early nights)

Stayed here early May fantastic hotel very clean and the rooms spotless and spacious lovely and quite we enjoyed it so much we have booked to go back in October.The restaurants just outside the hotel are definately worth a look.We used one called On The Beach with home cooked food and great service from Stefan the owner.
