Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas

We had a pretty good experience when staying at this hotel. First the positives - the hotel had incredible views with a perfect view of the sunset in the evenings. The hotel was exceptionally clean with plenty of staff. The breakfast buffet was very good indeed with a choice of everything you would need. Now the negatives - we stayed in room 301 and although the room had an incredible view we were awoken at 5am or earlier with a very noisy air conditioning unit. The idea of a holiday is to have a restful break away and unfortunately we didn’t receive it. We did complain but feel that the service we received from the staff wasn’t good enough(we were left a note about moving rooms in our room but didn’t even see it). We felt that there was no personal service with the reception generally having a not too bothered attitude. The staff at breakfast were overall good but still forgot our drinks from time to time. Overall a good stay that could have been great.

Everything perfect almost 90% is not 100% The bell boys / porters and room back of house absolutely 100% Front of house, good but not as informative as one would expect from such a hotel. Good but not exceptional Room was excellent, attention to detail of room clean was lacking All the little trims, treats were good Breakfast was ok , wait staff was hit and miss. Dinner was little food ,big price ,but above average. Atmosphere was wanting Great place, location ,feel The little bit more from staff and detail would have been world class

Amazing experience. Staff are consistently super kind and helpful, they are always happy to help. The room is gorgeous and the hotel is well organised. The pool areas are beautiful, there’s an infinity pool too. Dining experiences were all incredible. Oia centre is a 5/10mins walk away. Thank you for making our stay so special. The thoughtful notes and staff checking in to ensure our stay was special. We truly felt like they went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. The view from our room was spectacular, had the perfect sunset view. We purchased the room decorated option and it was stunning. Room service was delicious and the Alme restaurant was the best experience. When it’s cold they provide blankets and outdoor heaters. The food was unreal, every bite was a treat. There was also live music which was gorgeous. The app was super helpful with planning activities around the hotels. 100% recommend and will be back soon!

We arrived at the beautiful Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas for our 10 night honeymoon and was pleasantly greeted with a cool towel and welcome drink. Check in was nice and easy and everyone at reception was very nice and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them. We were taken to our suite (603) by Kris on a buggy and on the way he gave us a tour of where everything was such as the main pool, spa and footpath to Oia. The suite was lovely and had a sea view and private pool. We had a honeymoon note for us. There is plenty of towels in the room with separate ones for the pool. There is air con, a fridge, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, kettle, coffee machine and a safe available in the room along. We also had fresh fruit, prosecco and water for us on our arrival. Water was restocked twice a day and housekeeping came everyday. There was also a turn down service and little treats were left every evening for us including homemade chocolates, herbal tea and snack bars. The surroundings are stunning and the sunset views are spectacular. There is a main pool but all the neighbourhoods within the complex also have a communal pool which are equally stunning. We went to our communal pool and generally we had it to ourselves. The sunbeds are comfortable with plenty of parasols available and even the offering of a mini shoulder massage whilst sat around the pool. Breakfast is a buffet and options are plentiful ranging from continental to hot selections, pancakes and pastries with even further options available. All the food was delicious but the spinach pie and fresh orange juice was amazing! We also had a floating breakfast one morning which was exquisite. Concierge is available and they are very helpful and arranged our floating breakfast, wine tour and private dinner for us. All of the staff are caring, friendly and very helpful. A special thank you to Konstantinos and Eleutheria (apologies if I have spelt those wrong) for making our evenings in the bar fun and special! There are no views of the caldera from the suites, but that means you get to enjoy the sunsets away from the crowds and the main town area is a short 5-10 min walk along the pathway. It is slightly uphill so wear comfy shoes! Slip on sandals were fine but I wouldn't recommend it wearing heels. There is a vast selection of restaurants in the town that offer beautiful views of the caldera but you may want to make a reservation when it is peak season (this was not an issue for us travelling 10th - 20th September). Sunset was approximately 19.30hrs and Oia gets very busy as it offers spectacular views. Overall I cannot recommend Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas highly enough, it really is the place of calmness, serenity and tranquility and is simply amazing with the best staff and I cannot wait to return.

From the moment we arrived at Santo Pure Oia Suites & Villas, we were in a world of serenity, luxury, and unmatched hospitality. From the cool towel and welcome drink at reception to the buggy ride to our room everything was beautifully organised . The location is perfect , 5 minutes walk into Oia centre. The sunset views are truly amazing . But it’s the little touches that made the holiday truly special. What sets Santo Pure apart is the staff. Every person we met couldn’t have been more friendly , helpful and professional. From reception to the bar and waiting staff , the level of care was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble . We will definitely be visiting again.
