Outstanding hotel

My wife and I have just returned after a week’s stay at this wonderful hotel. The service and staff are outstanding, warm and friendly in true Greek tradition. The hotel has lovely grounds, 4 pools and a tennis court and is well positioned a short walk to the beach and many restaurants in a quite residential road. The on-site restaurant is excellent with a wide ranging lunch time menu and fine dining in the evening. There is also a spa on-site. I can’t recommend this five star hotel highly enough and look forward to returning.

Excellent Hotel

Gorgeous hotel lovely and clean with nice bright rooms and a bottle of water per day. Supermarket literally around the corner. Short lovely stroll to the beach and shops and restaurants. Everywhere was clean on the island and roads around Santorini were resurfaced and very good all over the island. We hired a car from the hotel for two days and went around the island. Glad we were in Kamari as Oia was so busy. Did a catamaran trip through the hotel only ten people to see the sunset in Oia which was excellent! It was a bus organised back to our hotel. Bus to Fira only 2 euros although coming back to hotel very busy and had to stand.

Fantastic week in Kamari

Absolutely fantastic week at this hotel. I cannot fault a thing. The resort itself is beautiful and peaceful. All members of staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent, with a good choice of food and wine. We will be back!

Family holiday

We arrive late in the evening, the hotel employee who greeted us was very friendly, after he showed us around and to our room we decided to have an early night, we were travelling with my son, his wife and their 9 month old child. We were abruptly awoken at approximately 2:45 to a guest in a nearby room screaming and yelling at the top of her voice, all the expletives you can think of and many more. After 20 minutes I decided enough was enough and went out to try and sort the situation, as I went outside her partner and a member of the hotel staff appeared so I left them to it. After another 20 minutes of the same ranting and screaming I decided to ask her to be quiet, I explained we had a 9 month baby with us and could she be quiet. Made no difference, she went in her room, closed the door and continued. I waited outside another 10 minutes and the partner appeared with his case being very apologetic. So I retreated to my room. All was well until 8:00 when it all kicked off again, the same screaming and swearing! Thankfully they were ejected from the hotel and the rest of the stay was peaceful and enjoyable. You can pick your hotel but the hotel can’t pick its guests. The hotel is lovely, clean and fresh looking, the staff are well presented and very friendly. The food is excellent with plenty of choice to suit everyone! Lots of pool areas and always lots of beds available at anytime with fresh towels every morning. Would I stay here again, without thinking about it!!

From the moment we arrived, Kastelli Resort felt like discovering a hidden treasure — stylish Cycladic architecture, lush fragrant gardens, and an inviting sense of calm. Our check-in was smooth and genuine; the duty manager handed us chilled orange juice and guided us to the breezy lounge while paperwork was taken care of — a small touch that set the tone for the rest of our stay Our room was spotless, elegantly furnished with pastel accents and crisp linens, opening onto a balcony that overlooked one of the resort’s sparkling pools. It felt less like a hotel and more like a serene village retreat . We loved the standout pools — there are four! — each offering its own vibe: some quieter, some livelier, but all perfectly maintained Mornings began with a buffet breakfast that stretched till 11 AM — a leisurely delight that included fresh fruit, pastries, and Greek specialties Dinner poolside at Lydia’s bar-restaurant was another highlight — cocktails, mezze plates, and the rhythms of gentle evening conversation made it a perfect end to each day . Beyond the resort, Kamari beach is just a couple of minutes’ walk away, its iconic black sand contrasting beautifully with the resort’s bright white buildings. I adored strolling along the promenade dotted with tavernas and shops — Santorini charm at its best
