Bad hotel every morning you wake up to the noise of construction and the employees. Do not recommend at all. Disappointing.

Our villa was very well appointed with a comfortable bed, plunge pool and loungers, indoor and outdoor shower, and jacuzzi tub with a view of the main pool and the ocean. The villas are set on Chaweng Beach so a spectacular setting for breakfast and dining in their restaurant and a just a hop on to the sand. The beach in front is well maintained with a dedicated section of loungers for hotel guests. We arrived into Koh Samui early in the morning and the staff let us know that whilst the room was being prepared, we could use air-conditioned transit rooms with showers, though we instead spent the morning enjoying the sunrise and walking around the lovely gardens, and they had the room ready for us quite early, which was very nice. When our room was cleaned each day, they lit candles to burn incense next to to the jacuzzi tub, which was a welcome fragrance upon entering the room. The gym and spa is just across the street, which initially felt a bit 'out of the way' but it's fine once you get used to crossing the street, which is busy enough as the road is a main artery from the airport into Chaweng. Nearby is a lovely wine shop, and convenience stores are close by. The resort is conveniently located about a 15-20 minute walk away from the hustle and bustle of Chaweng. We'd recommend it for a relaxing, luxurious stay in Chaweng and would stay again.

Great Staff – but the “70 m² Suites” Are Actually 50 m² and Right Next to the Road

I recently stayed at Sareeraya Villas & Suites and want to give an honest review focused on one key issue: the room size and location are not as advertised. • The so-called 70 m² suites start directly along the main road. We had no idea these rooms were roadside. If we had known, we wouldn’t have booked them — at least not at that price. • Once inside the room, it was immediately clear that the space was nowhere near 70 m². After raising the issue, the hotel sent two engineers to measure it. Their result confirmed my own quick measurement: 49 m². • I was told that all rooms sold as 70 m² are in fact this size. So anyone booking these suites should expect roughly 50 m², not 70. • I asked for a price adjustment to match the real size. Instead, I received a bottle of wine. Nice gesture, but it doesn’t fix the fact that I paid for a larger room than I got. • To be clear: the staff is amazing. The ladies at the check-in were exceptionally kind, helpful, and welcoming. My issue is only with the misleading room description and the reluctance of management to correct the pricing. Bottom line: Great people, but the advertised room sizes are simply not accurate. If you expect a true 70 m² suite, you won’t get it — and the rooms along the road are far from the quiet experience you might expect at this price point.
