Staff are just lovely, huge thank you to the breakfast staff, cabana pool bar staff, security, ans spa ladies. This hotel is a sensational supernova by night, everything sparkles, jewels and lanterns everywhere. Admittedly by day, an old resort, tired and showing its age, a lot of plastic props. When it rains there’s no where to go to be honest. Under 25 public use sunbeds for a resort of over 300 rooms - if you’re lucky enough to get one, you’ll have the couple or family next door perched virtually on top! Breakfast 350 but per person is good. Very clean well maintained resort ( it can’t help its age tbh ) Cabana pool is lovely BUT the cabana room sunbed areas are all glass covered with black filgery roof panel like a sauna and in shade. Room ( maybe we got unlucky 307 ) very dark and gloomy, huge black glass panels, odd layout, shower whilst lovely has a latched door into the public pool which is odd?? It’s a popular hotel with couples and families alike, but transitional we wouldn’t recommend for a long term stay, ideal for travelers or those passing through for few days. It’s situated on quite seedy smelly back street which we didn’t like. Beach is 8 mins to the left and there’s lots of places to get laundry done, BEST is left out of hotel where the little gym is - washing was top notch 70bht ( 10bht more than others ) but superior service. I’ve got to be honest I don’t think the hotel is value for money, I think there are better places hotels. Staff 10/10 so lovely. Nonegotiations l in a late check out ( we weren’t leaving till 8pm ) that said guys that looked after our cases were brilliant as was the shower pre booked in the spa - really nice service. Don’t get me wrong it’s a beautiful hotel at night, but day time it’s like a poorly lit theatre set, plastic props and faded plastic statues. Pool bar does good happy hour but one get one ( of the same drink ) free and the cocktails were good. Moustache jazz bar opposite does a great happy hour with lovely music.
