Lovely hotel, would have given 5 stars with some minor improvements

We had a great holiday at the Sea Breeze! Pros: - The majority of the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful; special mention for Arden and Latisha. My MIL struggled to walk and get about and they did everything they could to help (better seating, offering to get her food from the buffet, even offering a hand to help her walk) and were all very welcoming in general. - The rooms were spacious and clean - The main fine dinning restaurant was lovely, the service was great and the food was great! - The pool areas were well kept and and the staff were attentive with offering drinks - The ice cream bike was fantastic, my 2 little ones loved the idea; the lollies/ice are was delicious too! - All areas were really well maintained and clean. - The private beach was fantastic, the water sports staff were lovely. There were buckets/spades/sand toys available to borrow which was a nice touch - Location was perfect, only 15-20 mins from airport, plus if you're up for it its only a short walk into Oistins (the hotel also offer a free bus) Some improvements: - Our toliet door handle was hanging off and it needed force to close it (I'm sure they'd have fixed it if we asked) - The majority of the staff really were so engaging and friendly but the odd one or two were rude, or didn't even respond/talk when you were ordering a drink. On our first morning I went to a bar that looked open but the staff very rudely told me that it was closed. A simple "sorry we're not yet open" would have been lovely. - The food in the buffet was a bit limited with very few options for young children. We ordered from the flying fish menu but the food arrived cold/Luke warm. - The food in aqua terra was nice but also arrived Luke warm which is a real shame as it tasted nice and again the service was really good! - The gym was tiny! There was only 1 treadmill and it was broken both days I went in (however I did hear from another guest that it did eventually get fixed, I just didn't make it back) We didn't try the kids club, we popped in on the first day but the 2 members of staff were both sat staring at their phones whilst there was just 1 child in there. The room looked small and a bit dated - so this put me off a bit. I feel it's unfair for me to judge though since we didn't actually put the children in. We took the leaflet and it did look really good! Open 9-5pm with different activities running all day!

The service was awful and not very pleasant. Don't expect to get anything you order in a timely manner. The food was mediocre at best. Hotel is not at nice as shown in the pictures. More like lipstick on a pig to cover up the age and flaws of the hotel.

What an amazing Establishment. The STAFF & Management Team was absolutely amazing from day one. The room was clean. The food and drinks were good. It was locally close to everything. 15mins from the airport, shopping and dining. The atmosphere was perfect for family, couples or even solo trips. Plenty of activities and the price was right. I will Definitely go back there again and again.

Disappointed and overpriced

This resort is located on a lovely, clean, pleasant beach, large with many of the rooms and restaurants facing the ocean, making it feel like a true beach getaway. It offers three pools including one 20 meter pool, perfect if you want to do laps, and an adults only pool with very comfy chaise longues. The beach also offers lots of chairs with their own built in canopy for shade. It feels like a real holiday getaway. The rooms are comfortable, but a little tired. The facilities a little inadequate: the gym is tiny and not very inviting, the spa is dark and uninviting. The food is hugely disappointing although I will say the breakfast buffet was nice with some good healthy options. Lunch was disappointing wherever I ate - with the exception of the taco bar on the beach. The food selection in the pool restaurant was really not great, with only two salads on the menu, besides a large offer of burgers and other unhealthy dishes. I ordered the Greek salad which was just really awful: brown salad leaves, virtually no feta, no cucumber and no dressing. When I asked for dressing I was served some bizarre concoction that was mainly made of vegetable oil and dill. I tried the buffet the following day, which was equally disappointing. Lots of recycled salads and heavy, stodgy dishes on offer. The “fine dining” restaurants open in the evening try hard, but once again really missed the mark. Service throughout the resort was very inconsistent. Sometimes the staff were super friendly and went above and beyond, at other times you just felt that they were totally demotivated. Overall, for the price paid, I thought this resort was inconsistent, overpriced and very disappointing.
