Sea Sound - White Katikies

My husband and I arrived at this resort for 2 nights/3 days. Our first trip to Santorini! we were so excited and it was not a good experience we got there in the afternoon and went to the one restaurant on the premises and had lunch/dinner there were flies everywhere in our food landing on us the entire time we were trying to eat. There was nothing near by to go to so we just went to bed. When we got up in the morning there was NO POWER. No air conditioner working, no lights, no hot water etc. there were extension cords to the restaurant. I went right to the front desk and said we wanted to leave the resort since we only had 1 day left there and we didn't want to spend it like this. They said since I prepaid I could leave but they would not credit the one night even though I was leaving before check out and there was no power. I have disputed the cost back and forth but they refuse to do anything for me. My husband and I spent another $50 on a taxi to town and found a beautiful hotel that had power. I would NEVER recommend this hotel to anyone and learned a important lesson about prepaying! Don't do it. If you want to go to a hotel that is desolate with no power and flies you might like this one!

Had the most amazing few days here, lovely clean hotel and the staff were honestly second to none. Katerina, Alexandros, Marina, Antonis, Tefta and Effi were all so caring and accommodating. My son and myself are vegan and even though we were told no problem for food when booking the holiday, they were unprepared, but could not have gone out of their way more to make sure we were taken good care of. All the staff were so amazing with our grandchildren and Katerina made sure we were all well looked after even with blankets, and my grandson with hot chocolate daily!! My granddaughter fell in love with the kittens and Tefta did a wonderful job including her in their care. Can't recommend Sea Sounds enough, a lovely family hotel

A perfect oasis adjoining beach in a quieter part of Santorini far from the madding crowd of Cruise ship passengers crowding Fira and Oia staff could not have been friendlier and more helpful. Food was good and all local dishes , rooms were clean and "worked" well. Only adverse aspect was that we were only there 5 days! The name Sea Sounds is not a misnomer, you literally walk out of the grounds on to the beach (black sand)

Such a friendly team that couldn't do enough for us. A relaxing and enjoyable stay - just what we were after. The pool is lovely and we enjoyed every meal. Used the local buses to get about and you're at the strip after a 20-30 minute walk along the black beach. The sunrise is just amazing by the way
