Seacoast Suites Hotel is located on world-renowned Miami Beach amidst the White sand beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, 5 minutes to the Fontainebleau Miami hotel, and Minutes away from South Beach's exciting clubs & restaurants and premier Shopping to the north at The Shoppes at Bal Harbour and Aventura Mall. We are 15 minutes from the Performing Arts Center, American Airlines Arena, Bayside Marketplace and Downtown Miami. In the hotel room, hotel is not providing the cleaning supplies, dish washing soap, paper towels, condiments, food, ice cube trays, coffee and filter, and dish towels in your room, however those amenities are available in the onsite market.

Black Americans Beware: Traveled Around the World & Never Been Treated this Bad

Let's start with the good- there is a walk-up window by the pool where a very nice young lady made my family great slushy beverages on a very hot day and a few feet away is a cute little outdoor restaurant where we were served by a man who was super cool and friendly. Service was fast and the food was good. My first impression of the hotel overall was that it is old and in need of renovation but it was the cheapest suite that could fit my family and it's basically on the beach- also our suite had an amazing view of the bay and the yachts docked at the marina. It was adequate accommodations for a one-night stay before our Carnival cruise. Now for the reason that we were at the restaurant out back by the pool: Now the bad: I arrived at 2:30pm with my sister, her preschool age daughter, and my 2 sons after flying from DC to Ft Lauderdale and then taking a 40-minute cab ride to Miami. I stood in line at the front desk and the first red flag was that the male desk clerk didn’t say “hello”, “welcome to Seacoast Suites” or anything at all! When he finished with the person in front of me, I was just standing there waiting and finally he put up his fingers to motion at me to come over! He quickly told us that we were early for our 4pm check-in then when 4pm came, they told us we still can't have keys because “there are no towels in the room”. At one point, I begged him to just give us the keys and let housekeeping bring the towels later and we were told it couldn't be done. I decided to stand off to the side of the front desk and spent almost 30 minutes watching him and a female clerk check in multiple other people into rooms with no problem! I also notice that they're speaking Spanish to all of the people checking in so now I’m frustrated and wondering why the one Black family in the lobby has now waited almost 2 hours for a reserved suite (it's not like they didn't know we were coming). When I asked for a manager, I was told that there was none on site that day! The next day we didn't know checkout was at 10:30 and we asked them to give us a grace period of 30 min but instead they sent a security person to bang on our door every 5 minutes to tell us we had to get out. The male desk clerk from the previous day gave management his side of the story but I was the paying customer and no one asked me anything. When we asked the manager not to charge us extra he was like "no, you argued with the desk clerk and made him cry". I never saw the rude, sarcastic clerk cry but I cried angry tears as I told them exactly what I thought of them before we left. I'm just sorry that I spent any money here & that my family had to experience this.

Need pest control and only has 1 working elevator

My family and I stayed at your hotel on Saturday, June 7, and unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing from the very beginning. Upon check-in, the receptionist appeared annoyed and dismissive when we asked routine questions, as if we should already know everything. When we mentioned that we had tried calling multiple times during the week without getting an answer, there was no acknowledgment or apology, just indifference. The condition of the rooms was below expectations and clearly in need of major upgrades. One of the most concerning issues was the bedding—it lacked a proper fitted sheet. Instead, there was a smaller square mat beneath the sheet, which didn’t fit the bed and was very uncomfortable. In the second room, the toilet took an unusually long time to flush, indicating maintenance issues. The elevator situation was frustrating, with only one working elevator that took a very long time to arrive. As a result, my family—including children —frequently had to use the stairs up to the 7th floor.Even more disturbing, we discovered cockroaches in our suite, and at 3 a.m., we were awakened by scratching noises coming from the ceiling air vents. It sounded like there could be raccoons or rats in the ducts, which was both frightening and unacceptable. When I brought this to the front desk’s attention, they simply gave me a number to call—no on-site assistance, no manager, no real concern. It felt like they were aware of the issue and tired of hearing about it.On Sunday morning, our experience at the pool area was no better. A group of guests, including my family, were waiting respectfully for the pool to open at 9:30 a.m., as posted. However, we were told at that time that the pool still needed to be cleaned—something that should have been done well before opening hours. The pool was finally accessible around 9:41 a.m., and during that time, a security guard near the pool was rude. In addition to all of this, the hotel has a strong moldy smell throughout, which made our stay even more uncomfortable.After our stay, I reviewed other guest comments and sadly realized that our experience was not unique. Many guests have reported similar issues. I regret not checking the reviews earlier, but I booked through LifeMart, my company’s employee discount program, which I trusted. I will be reaching out to them to report this experience and recommend that this property be reconsidered for future employee bookings. Overall, this experience was not only disappointing but unacceptable on multiple levels. I hope you take this feedback seriously and implement the necessary changes to improve your guest experience.

Not airbnb it's a hotel

The only good thing about the hotel was the view and the distance from the beach other than that it was not worth it. They listed it has an airbnb but it was more like a hotel. No dishsoap or cleaning supplies to clean the dishes and the dishes where dirty before we got to used them. We had to go buy dishwashing soap so we can clean the dishes. No dust pan but they had a broom. The rooms had things under the bed and bathrooms were not the cleanest. The elevator was broken and the one that was working was slow as it can be.

We were a little concern and worry after reading several negative reviews. We decided to take a chance and express our concerns with the host before arriving. We arrived on Memorial weekend. Check-in was fast and easy and it was plenty of parking in the garage. The bellman loaded up his cart with our luggage and took it to our room. The hallways were wide clean and well lit. We were very happy with our room. We reserved an oceanfront corner room, and that’s what we got. It looked just like the pictures in the advertisement. I don’t know if all the rooms are as good as the one we had, but our kitchen was well stocked with glasses, plates, pots, pans, and various utensils.Both bedrooms had linen and comforters. Both bathrooms had enough towels for six guests, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. The suite is very spacious and has two separate AC units . It had tons of storage/closet space. There was also a safe in one of the closets. We did not see any roaches dead or alive as stated in some reviews. We did see a little rust on the bathroom door hinges, but that is common with being oceanfront. The salt in the air causes things to rust. This. Suite was well taken care of, and you will see it in my pictures. The front desk was friendly and nice anytime we had questions. The elevator was a little slow during busy times but during peak, it was fine. There is a freight elevator on the backside of the lobby elevator that we sometimes used as an alternative. There was one elevator that was out of service. We did not go to the gym or the restaurant, but we did see that they were both open during our stay. The hotel lobby areas are vintage and original. They have Pickleball courts but it’s $10 per person per day to play. I think you need to bring your own equipment but not sure. We did not actually use the pool, but we noticed that there was a charge to use the nice day bats around the pool. They did run out of beach and pool towels, but told us to come back in 20 minutes. You have free beach chairs, but you must pay for the umbrella. They collect all the beach chairs starting at 5:00 PM. Tip: Sit in the beach chairs as far north as possible, it will be about 6 o’clock by the time they get to your chairs. Check out was fast and easy. Just make sure you have all your towel cards to return. We really enjoyed our stay despite all the negative reviews. I can’t speak about the other rooms, but we really had a nice room as shown in the pictures. We had no major complaints.

NICE PLACE JUST ELEVATOR NO GOOD

I stayed in a 2 bedroom 3 beds, dinning room, Kitchen, Living room & balcony. I like that both rooms and living room you can see the ocean, plus is a walking distance to the pool & ocean I like the place things to improve is, I wish they have some bottles of water, pop and better toilet paper hahaha the thing that drove me crazy was 1 of the elevators were broken so it took forever to go up and down and I mean it was a nightmare to use it. I didn't like that I have to pay an extra 45 per day to use the parking lot for a car. Also, Bring some $ because the food here and activities are pricey so be ready to spend some cash I spent an average of 400 per day between food and activities family of 5...
