It took me a year and a half to write this review because I was so disappointed at the time that I didn’t want my emotions to overly influence my evaluation. I stayed at the hotel with my boyfriend at the time (now my husband) during the summer. Upon arrival, we tried to contact the hotel by phone and email because we had been told there was a parking area available, but we were never given the address and received no response. As a result, we had to park nearby and carry all of our luggage to the reception on our own. When we checked in, the staff kept insisting that we book a boat tour affiliated with the hotel, which felt quite pushy and uncomfortable. Our room was spacious and had a jacuzzi with a sea view. However, the bed sheets had holes in them (I attached a photo), and the jacuzzi was not working. We reported the issue on the first day, but it took two days for someone to come and assess it, only to confirm that it was indeed not functioning. It was only on the third day — our last day — that we were finally moved to another room with a working jacuzzi. In addition, my husband had emailed the hotel before our stay to ask whether they offered any kind of romantic decoration or special arrangements, as he was planning to propose during the trip. That email was never answered. The hotel does not have a pool in the annex building, but there is another property where guests are allowed to use the pool. On a positive note, the view and the breakfast were outstanding.
