We had a great babymoon at Impressions Moxche! Shoutouts: I want to give a shoutout to Jeorge from the Impressions Pool who made us a special babymoon sign surprise. He was such a wonderful part of the trip. Also, Jose, Josephine, Axel, and Chris from the entertainment staff were great. I loved the aqua classes each day, and they made them so fun (and pregnancy safe!) Lastly, our butlers Alexis, Sergio, Alejandro were so helpful and kind throughout our stay. The staff in general was top notch - everyone we encountered was above and beyond friendly! Pros: We never had an issue finding a seat at the pool, which is rare at resorts. We also never had to wait more than a few min for drinks at any of the bars. Again, cannot say enough about the friendly and helpful staff - they were wonderful! We really enjoyed the Italian restaurant and again, the market for breakfast was a hit. The room was spacious, comfortable, beautiful view, and they did a great job cleaning every day! They even had a babymoon surprise for us when we arrived, which was so kind. Overall, the layout of the resort was great. Easy to walk around and SO many pool options. Typically it's just one main pool, but there were nearly 10 options to cool off, get privacy, or be part of the action depending on what we were feeling. Cons: We were so bummed that the Impressions rooftop pool was closed due to construction every day we were there. It was one of the reasons we booked, so communication ahead of time would have been nice. Not that big of a deal, but the live music everyday was the same song set, so a variety would have been nice. Food was decent - not the best resort food I have ever had, but I would say "what you'd expect" - though we really enjoyed the market breakfast. Such a big variety of options! Last on food - hate to say it, but we got room service one night and the food was almost inedible. Was nothing like any of the restaurants, so not sure why we had that experience but worth noting to NOT do that. Bring your own sunscreen! We didnt want to check a bag (got a notice from the airlines that bags were taking 90+ minutes), so we bought sunscreen at the hotel. One thing of 30 SPF was $55 USD and we needed about three. Not an expense we were expecting, so just a heads up there!
