Last minute trip that turned out to be the best decision!

Stayed this past weekend Sept 26-29. We were blessed with the best weather. Blue skies no rain and most importantly clean sargassum free beach. Was pleasantly surprised. We had Baha Mar booked originally- night before we pivoted quick to CUN due to Imelda. So glad we did! Skip the steakhouse (outback/keg level) - other than that no complaints! Globalist so got upgraded to a presidential suite! Staff are great- never really expecting a tip (but we did 95% of the time anyway). Would go back in a heartbeat!

5th time at The Vine in the books. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place, this is for you. If you are expecting endless entertainment and a part vibe, there is probably a better choice. The value is incredible for what you get at the vine. The rooms were clean and the service was top notch.

The pool and the beach were pretty good. There's an area that is only for preferred club members and I think it's worth the extra as the restaurant in that club is one of the better ones. Staff were friendly and helpful. The buffet has the most consistently decent taste food. Specialty restaurants on the other hand are not great. The operation was unnecessarily chaotic. The wait for the food was long, most dishes didn't taste good. We have had bad mix drinks in those restaurants. I was impressed however,the staff did follow up with my negative reviews and asked for details input. The facility overall is pretty good. Hope they improve the taste of their food soon

Fantastic Holiday at Secrets, The Vine, Cancun

One of the best hotels we have stayed in, we where there for two weeks, in September 2025, and found the place more like a family home (Even given its size) the staff where so friendly, walking into the buffet restaurant, the team saw us arriving, and before we could tell the reception our room number, the team had a table ready, and wine pored!! Then there was the Steak house, Elias looked after us so well and the filet steak is superb, so much we went back for several nights. Music and other entertainment was good, well presented, and varied, with some great pop and rock music. Covering the decades. Such a great hotel we hope to be heading back next year.

We decided to upgrade to club preferred members. On arrival we were greeted warmly by staff with a welcome drink and accompanied straight to floor 21 for a smooth check in. We also had access to our own concierge on floor 24 his name was Manuel who was very helpful throughout our stay. Food wise we took breakfast in the main buffet restaurant, here you will find quite a varied choice, something for everyone i would say and quite satisfactory. On a few occasions we had lunch in the main cafe, I must say not terrible as such but nothing special, quite forgettable in a way. For dinner there is a variety of à la carte restaurants available which we very much took advantage of, our favorite was the Bluewater grill where i recommend the fillet steak, the Italian next door i believe its called Nebbiolo was also superb. Our room had a beautiful Seaview, design is sleek and modern, beds confortable same goes for the shower and bathroom. Plenty of space too with a 55in TV with premium US Movies/TV shows and plenty of live sports channels too. And of course rooms very clean. Excellent. There is a spa and a nice gym available if you like that sort of thing. The overall facilities and there are many are 5 star as far as i am concerned. A word for the staff, every single staff member I came across from the guys on the door, to the waiting staff, receptionists, housekeepers and servers, all were absolutely brilliant, top service always delivered attentively and with a smile. The pools are gorgeous and the beach is beautifully maintained with a lovely and warm sea as you would expect, there is entertainment on nightly, but we missed most of it as we were out every night. Speaking of which there is a bus service that runs along the main road that serves the whole hotel area which costs a pittance at 12 pesos a journey and serves the area quite well. I don't think I waited more than 2 Minutes for a bus there is so many. Overall Cancun was a dream,I loved every minute of it, will I be back ? You bet I will !!!! RECOMMEND !
