Secrets Tulum Resort & Beach Club

We spent a wonderful week at the Secrets Tulum along with our daughter and son-in-law. Everything, especially the personnel, was wonderful! Each person who works here goes out of their way to do ANYTHING they can to make your stay just a little better and to 'Welcome You Home'. We especially want to recognize the following folks: our personal concierge, Gabriel, Luna and Cristal with the entertainment department, Evers, a waiter at the Market Cafe and Ventura a waiter at the Bluewater Grill. All of these folks went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Gabriel especially did everything we asked of him and lots that we didn't even know we needed. Secrets Tulum is fortunate to have him as an employee. The food was all delicious and we never had a problem finding an open table in the restaurant we wanted. Bars were plentiful and there was never a wait for a drink. If you wanted a quiet spot, it was easy to find; likewise, if you craved activity there was always something going on you could participate in. The beach shuttle ran often and was on time. The beach area was a great place to spend a quiet afternoon. I would highly recommend this property to all, regardless of whether you're young or old.

The resort is beautiful and my experience was phenomenal from beginning to end. The statement welcome home is exactly how they made me feel.

First trip to a Secrets Resort and first time to an adults only. We were treated with such good service. LOVED the phone app. Made it so easy to request everything from room cleaning to pillows to virtually anything you needed. Upon arrival (highly recommend Tulum International rather than Cancun airport), we were greeted and taken to the 3rd floor preferred lounge for check in (we didn’t realize we were upgraded to preferred!). They encourage you to visit their vacation club but it isn’t pressured or a hard sell. We enjoyed every single one of our 9 days!! The 10am bike rides with Cristal and Luna were so fun! Our personal concierge, Gabriel, was amazing. Besides finding us and seeking us out every day, he went above and beyond and we were able to text him, if needed, via the What’s Up app. We saw him so often that this wasn’t necessary too much. The resort was very quiet and relaxing. Good music and not crazy. Plenty of pools. We liked the Luna and the Zen. Fav restaurant was the Jasmine. Some shout outs to Ventura (waiter at Blue Water), GABRIEL LUNA CRISTAL & my favorite bartender who was the only one who knew how to make a chocolate monkey mocktail and would see me and would rush to make it! His name was Jeremias. We just had the best time. There were some weddings during the 9 days which brought in some small groups but they were only there maybe 2 days and I only saw ONE TIME that one of the pools was rowdy in the late evening. Mostly it was the quietest resort EVER. Rooms were incredible. This was way better than I expected. Was impressed with the English speaking of much of the staff, even though we were the ones visiting their country, they go all out. I could always pull out my pocket translator if needed. I used it only a few times. I am already missing this place! One more thing to add, we enjoyed meeting the manager, Aldo, who mingled with the guests at the themed nightly buffets (a couple of these per week) and took notes on suggestions the guests may have. He valued our input and we also learned that while this is a newer resort, it’s under an all BRAND NEW management team. PS) the SPA was excellent!!! We used our free upgrade coupons for the hydrotherapy and then my mom and I got 25 min relaxing massages and could choose between back or leg. The dressing rooms were so nice and the staff there was second to none. 4 of us did the hydrotherapy together.
