We arrived at the Hotel around 9:45pm on a Monday night. By the time we’d checked in, been taken to our room (in a little buggy), dropped our bags and were ready to head out for something to eat it was 10:20pm. The Italian à la carte restaurant ’La Pasteria’ was the only place still serving food, but last orders was 10:30pm. We were apologetic to the waitress for arriving so close to closing time but she welcomed us in and two superb pizzas arrived in short order. A great start. There are some basics to cover but not in too much detail as these have been covered already by others. We are here the first 11 days in June and there was no problem in securing a sunbed each day, although this is at the smaller pool area, not the slightly noisier main pool at which the loungers were mostly taken/reserved. You can reserve sunbeds each day if you wish via the app (‘Exclusivi’ on the App Store, you must get the app!) for 10 Euros each. If not reserving, try not to leave your sunbeds unattended for longer than 30 mins otherwise you risk losing them (although we’ve yet to see anyone have their towels moved; maybe as it’s not peak season). Menus in the à la carte restaurants are slightly confusing where some things are included in the all inclusive package and some aren’t. There’s no restriction in being able to use the à la carte restaurants but if you want a full selection you’re going to have to pay. This is understandable. The buffet restaurant is stellar and everything food-wise is in the all inclusive package. Be under no illusion, the food here in all settings is top notch. The drinks served are equally good. A core number of branded drinks are included but additional premium drinks attract addditional charges. Totally workable and reasonable. What is an excellent bonus is being able to order drinks direct to your sunlounger using the app. They’re delivered in a couple of minutes. Bar staff are excellent. The rooms are decent. We were in room 2007 which is in a block of 12 as far away from the bars as you can get and totally peaceful. You don’t wear an all inclusive wristband here, your room card is used to verify your board basis and you pay accordingly. The staff are the cherry on top of the cake at this hotel…. The staff at La Pasteria were like a close team/family and were a joy to be around. You guys made our holiday special and you were so friendly. Fabulous holiday in Rhodes

We had a fabulous week at the Port Royal Villas and Spa Hotel in Rhodes. The hotel is stunning and right on their own beach with the comfiest of beach beds. All the team do a fantastic job and standouts for us were Elton, who greeted us on our arrival and took us to our great sea view room. Romero on the beach did a great job looking after hotel guests and dealing very kindly with non-hotel guests! Vasillis in the main bar, looked after us and everyone else really well and kept the drinks flowing. In the restaurant, Antonious always welcomed us with a handshake and a smile. The food was outstanding, particularly loved the Sushi night and the porcetta - we ate far too much! During meals, the pianist did a lovely job serenading us whilst we ate. Nice touches and extras were Nadia who gave me the best pedicure I have ever had from the quality of the experience to my lovely feet at the end - thank you! Finally we went along to two early morning yoga sessions with Yannis. I go regularly and this was a great class, my husband is a beginner and enjoyed it as much as I did ... nice addition to our break. We highly recommend the Port Royal for a relaxing, high quality and pampering holiday - great for a recharge break or just a special treat - thank you!

Amazing hotel you won’t be disappointed

What an amazing hotel set in a great location, it’s relaxing and peaceful, lovely to have a choice of staying by the pool or going on the beach which is right on your doorstep, the sunbeds are so comfy and lovely the hotel supply the towels, staff are so friendly and helpful, the hotel and pools are so pretty especially at night when the pool lights up with lots of little lights ✨ super clean and the maid comes everyday, breakfast there is so much to choose from, very close to the shops, bars and restaurants, bus stops close by which we used to go to Rhodes old town and can also go to Lindos, totally would recommend this hotel and you won’t be disappointed, I came here with my husband for his birthday and the hotel surprised us when we got back to our room with a birthday cake and bottle of bubbly which was just so lovely and unexpected, so thank you we loved that and we shall definitely be back! 🥰❤️

We have just returned from a week long stay at Port Royal and can highly reccomend this hotel! The hotel itself is beautifully laid out with lovely gardens and mini streams running throughout, the room was spacious and very clean and we had a fab view overlooking the main pool. It was the first time we have gone with half board rather than all inclusive and we were really impressed with the food options - particularly during dinner (the breakfast was the same everyday as with most hotels). All the staff were really friendly and kind, the housekeeping staff work really hard to keep the hotel spotlessly clean. We also booked a spa treatment at the onsite spa which was really relaxing and enjoyable too. This is an adults only hotel so entertainment during the evenings was limited but there are shops and bars right outside the hotel so wasn’t much of an issue for us. Couple of small niggles - as we were half board, we purchased our own drinks from nearby supermarket to enjoy on the balcony in the evenings, we came back to the room on one occasion and found all our own drinks had been removed from the mini fridge with a note saying mini bar items cannot be replaced which wasn’t the case, we simply wanted to keep our own drinks cold, we found that a bit unnecessary and nit-picky. Our flight back on the last day wasn’t until late that evening and we found out on the day that we wouldn’t be able to have any of the buffet dinner (nothing is provided after breakfast on checkout day) which seemed a bit mean considering a proportion of the food would have been wasted anyway and so we left the hotel hungry. Other than those small criticisms, we had an amazing holiday in Rhodes and would return again.

A wonderful hotel

We stayed for one week in June. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is fantastic, there wasn’t a great selection but the quality and freshness was outstanding. We used the buffet every night, which had the basics each night with a notable difference on the theme and main dishes. Not everything had a label of what it was and not every label had the allergies listed but I was able to get what I needed. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. There was limited storage in the room. Whilst there was a big wardrobe, there are no drawers or shelves in the room. This made the room feel quite cluttered and messy with nowhere to put things away and needed to use the table and bench. We had a swim up room and also used the main pools each day. The pools were clean and the sun beds comfortable. The WiFi is mostly ok. Some connection issues by the pool and had to log back in with the code multiple times throughout the week. The location is in a relatively quiet area with not much around but a few shops, bars and restaurants.
