Sentinus Beach Hotel

We arrived about 6:30am and due to the lack of English and understanding, check in took ages!! The lobby area is very nice and spacious but the rooms are tired and need updating. The restaurant is clean and nice but the staff are rude!! Not very welcoming at all and this is the same for most of the staff. There was only one member of staff that was polite, friendly and accommodating and that was Nihal Nida, an absolute credit to the hotel and the other staff could learn a lot by following in her footsteps!! Well done Nihal. The entertainment man and guest relations lady Ebru didn’t acknowledge us for about 3 days!! Once they did, all they were interested in was pressuring us to write reviews! We said we would at our own leisure. The staff just stood around drinking, chatting and smoking all day! The bar was very very limited, four choices only and most of the time those options weren’t always available. The beach bar only had beer! This hotel doesn’t cater for English visitors which is a shame because it could be lovely! After visiting Turkey previously, we were shocked at the lack of hospitality. We definitely will not be returning.

Just returned from a week at this hotel and in our opinion it is 100% geared to Turkish guests. The reception staff were friendly & could just about speak English but most of the other staff, inc bar & restaurant really struggled. The hotel was clean but tired! Pool bar was nice. Lobby bar was poor. There were only 6- 8 people round the pool each day, average age was about 50- 60 but the Turkish club music was so loud every day ( know your audience Mt DJ) The parasols were all dirty & worn out! The restaurant was really clean but the food was the same everyday, Lovely fresh salads, but every single evening meal it was fish & chicken so we chose to eat out. Long beach is a very rustic & authentic resort about 10 km outside of Kusadasi - but excellent Dolmus (bus) service into town. Cost 25 TL, about 50p. Kusadasi town is lovely. Would revisit the resort as it’s not commercial at all but would not stay at Sentinus hotel again.

The hotel was awful worst service, sewage smell constantly, staff unable to communicate in English, same food every day, no entertainment, cleaning manager refused to let us enter our apartment and left us standing outside for 20 minutes as she couldn’t understand English, Nothing. Works, no coffee machine, no drinks machine working, no beer due to pumps not working at the bars. Everything is old and worn down, gym, sauna, steam room closed. Just an awful experience waste of time and money worst hotel stated at. Put me off visiting Turkey altogether.
